In tests, participants have gone over a month eating only Tsogo and recorded extremely positive energy and health. Use Tsogo for short term preparedness plans but also for longer periods as well. This pouch will supply a person looking for 2,000 calories a day for food for one day. Check out our month supplies to stock up and save when buying in bulk.

Natural Ingredients
Tsogo's chocolate smoothie is made from pure, plant-based nutrition. The concept behind total food replacement is simple. Your body processes food at a chemical level. When you eat meat, for example, your body process protein (among many other nutrients). When you eat bread, your body processes carbs. Our chocolate smoothies have a perfectly balanced blend of the good stuff. When you drink a Tsogo smoothie, you can count on getting complete nutrition. Keep in mind that the chocolate in this smoothie adds additional proteins and natural sugars inherent in chocolate.

How to Prepare
To make 1 serving of Tsogo, add 8 to 16 oz of water (depending on how thick you want it) to a bottle and 2 scoops of smoothie powder. Stir until dissolved, then drink. If you have a Tsogo Blender Bottle place 2 scoops and the appropriate amount of water then shake for 15 seconds. You can also add freeze-dried fruits and/or veggies into a blender along with the powder and water and blend for 30-90 seconds. There are also 4 Tsogo boosts that are options to customize your nutrition even more.

If you want a half serving and fewer calories use 1 scoop of smoothie (215 calories for chocolate) and half the amount of water. A full serving of 2 scoops, is 430 calories. Each pouch contains 5 servings totaling 2,150 calories for one day.

I love this as a meal replacement. I mix 1 scoop chocolate with 1/4 cup freeze-dried strawberries in 8 oz water. Tastes like a chocolate covered strawberry and fills me up. I have also mixed it with peanut butter and a banana in my blender. This doesn't have the artificial taste that protein powders I have tried has.

Good meal replacement shake

This is a very good meal replacement shake. It has a great nutritional content and tastes good. I've been drinking meal replacement shakes for years as post-workout meals, so I decided to compare the Tsogo to my favorite meal replacement shake, which is EAS Myoplex (although I've tried a number of other meal replacement shakes as well). By far, one of the best things about Tsogo is the price. A lot of reviews that you read about meal replacement shakes compare the price per serving, which is usually meaningless because the calories per serving vary widely between shakes. Myoplex is a very reasonably priced shake, at $2.75 per serving, but chocolate Tsogo comes in at $1.67 per serving for the same number of calories per serving as Myoplex. Tastewise, Tsogo is very good. I like Myoplex more, but compared to other shakes I've tried, Tsogo is at least as good or better. There are only a couple of drawbacks to Tsogo compared to Myoplex, and they are both minor. First, Tsogo is a bit gritty (as another reviewer mentioned), but only a little. I wouldn't let this sway me from purchasing the product again. Second, I like to mix my shakes in a blender with ice. I always add just a little xanthum gum to smooth out the shake. Tsogo does not mix as well as Myoplex. It still comes out a little gritty and inhomogeneous. But, again, it wouldn't keep me from purchasing the product. I have also mixed the Tsogo with water only with a spoon. It mixes ok, but doesn't come out really smooth. Maybe the shaker would give a better result. All in all, I would say the best things about Tsogo are, in order: price / value, nutritional content as a meal replacement, shelf life, convenience, and taste.

If you want to use it as a diet supplement, then fine. But if you’re going to use it as part of your food supply, don’t. Has the consistency of powdered sugar, so after you scoop some, you have to pack it a little and it creates a fine dust when you do. I think it was add 2 cups of water with 2 scoops for a one day meal replacement. Granted it made a lot, but the taste was gritty. You can order a special mixer for it, but that’s just one more thing to buy and carry (B.O.B.).
After my first couple of sips, I was done and pitched the rest. Had some cereal and started my day.
Like I said, if you want to use it as a diet supplement, great. Who knows maybe they’ll start carrying Jenny Craig foods next. FROM THE READY STORE: Frank, thanks for your review. As far as the texture of Tsogo, it is "gritty" because it contains gluten free oat powder. In our opinion and the opinion of many other customers, the "grittiness" is very minor, but a very good thing for your health. The taste, particularly our chocolate and vanilla, has been very well received. The "special mixer" is nothing more than a Blender Bottle that many people use to mix protein drinks. Tsogo is just as easily mixed in any kind of pitcher but for convenience the Blender Bottle works really well. Tsogo is designed to give you balanced, complete, total nutrition. While many customers use it for a daily meal replacement because it's healthy and tastes great, it is not at all like any of the weight loss programs out there. This is no Jenny Craig food or just some incomplete diet supplement. Tsogo is food. Check out the nutrition information and you will see what we mean. We believe that Tsogo should be a part of every family's food storage plan. No cooking, no prep, just add water complete nutrition. There is nothing else quite like it out there.
