Benefits & Description

Benefits & Description

Tsogo chocolate smoothies are filled with every healthy and complete nutrient you'd expect in a serious, food-replacement drink but with a flavorful punch of chocolate. Each bucket contains 140 servings (28 days) of smoothies sealed in an air-tight mylar pouch with an o2 absorber to ensure long-term freshness.

Perfect For Preparedness
Aside from a long shelf life, Tsogo smoothies don't need to be cooked. Skip saving up on fuel, stoves, cookware and the hassle associated with preparing and cleaning up after meals. Simply add cold water to your Tsogo smoothie and shake. In a matter of a few seconds you will be eating a balanced meal full of everything your body needs. This will save you money, time, and ensure your body is getting the wide range of nutrition it needs. No more wondering if your food storage supply is nutritionally balanced.

In tests, participants have gone over a month eating only Tsogo and recorded extremely positive energy and health. Use Tsogo for short term preparedness plans but also for longer periods as well. This bucket will supply a person looking for 2,000 calories a day for food for 28 days. If you want to try a smaller amount before buying in bulk for extra savings you can look at our 1 day pouches in 3 flavor varieties.

Natural Ingredients
Tsogo's chocolate smoothie is made from pure, plant-based nutrition. The concept behind total food replacement is simple. Your body processes food at a chemical level. When you eat meat, for example, your body process protein (among many other nutrients). When you eat bread, your body processes carbs. Our chocolate smoothies have a perfectly balanced blend of the good stuff (proteins, etc) without the bad stuff (sugars, fats, sodium, etc.). When you drink a Tsogo smoothie, you can count on getting complete nutrition. Keep in mind that the chocolate in this smoothie adds additional proteins and natural sugars inherent in chocolate.

How to Prepare
To make 1 serving of Tsogo, add 8 to 16 oz of water (depending on how thick you want it) to a bottle and 2 scoops of smoothie powder. Stir until dissolved and then drink. If you have a Tsogo Blender Bottle place 2 scoops and the appropriate amount of water then shake for 15 seconds. You can also add freeze-dried fruits and/or veggies into a blender along with the powder and water and blend for 30-90 seconds. There are also 4 Tsogo boosts that are options to customize your nutrition even more.

If you want a half serving and fewer calories use 1 scoop of smoothie (215 calories for chocolate) and half the amount of water. A full serving of 2 scoops, is 430 calories. Each bucket contains 140 servings, the equivalent of 28 pouches.

Good taste, convenient, but too expensive

I bought a bucket of this food replacement powder through an Indegogo promotion. I like it prepared in a blender with a glass of crushed ice, glass of water, two scoops of the product (430 calories), 1/4 C of wheat bran (30 calories) for added fiber and a cup of frozen fruit (~80 calories). I like it to end up the consistency of soft serve ice cream. I am using it for weight control at this time so am having three servings/day vice the recommended five.

I think it is too expensive for long-term use. A similar result could be obtained with a daily multivitamin, and soy + whey powder instead of this this product along with the bran and frozen fruit, with two pieces of toast with coconut oil added in for carbs/fat.

I will use up what I have with no complaints but I am not planning on reordering. This would be a good item to keep for medium-term storage. It comes sealed in a mylar bag inside a heavy plastic carrying container (a little less than 30 pounds).

From the Ready Store:

Charles, thanks for the review. We are glad you like the product. As for your issue with pricing you can continue to check back on our site for promotions and other sales where you can get it for cheaper. While it may not be the cheapest food option out there it actual compares very well to Mountain House entrees. If you were to buy 2000 calories worth of Mountain House entrees and compared it to the price of 2000 calories of Tsogo you will save about 40-50% with Tsogo. Of course there are less expensive ways to get 2000 calories. You could buy a #10 can of rice for around $10 and get around 8000 calories of food... though you will be very short on your fats, dietary fiber, and all of your vitamins and minerals whereas Tsogo is loaded with a balanced nutrition. Thankfully there are lots of options for us all on how to get prepared and we love offering as many as possible to give our customers options that fit their individual needs.

Thanks,

Ready Store Customer Service Team
