What is Food Storage?
You never know what might happen. Whether it’s a natural disaster, job loss or economic hard times, food storage can help you prepare for the unknown situations. Food storage includes fruits, vegetables, grains, rice, meals and more; that are shelf stable for 10-30 years. When a disaster strikes you ready with food for your family. Why Should I Store Water?
While you may be able to last a few days without food and shelter, you can’t last very long without water. It’s essential to life. If a natural disaster hit your home or something happened to stop the faucets from flowing, you’d need water storage for your home. To learn more about water storage, visit this page.
Are your MREs from the military?
Our MREs are made by the contractors who supply the Department of Defense. They are made to military specifications. The only difference is that they do not include gum, hot sauce and come in clear packaging. Selling MREs that were made for military troops is illegal.
How do I know when my food storage was manufactured?
Long term food storage only lasts if it’s stored correctly. For that reason, they don’t have expiration dates on them. Instead they have dates of manufacture. With most products, The Ready Store employs a Julian calendar system. You can click here to read about Julian dates and print out a sheet to keep with your food storage. If you want to know how old your MRE is, you can use our MRE Calculator to figure out when it was manufactured.
Where is the food grown?
The Ready Store prepares and processes our food in the United States! We only use the highest quality food sources. The majority of our produce is grown here in the U.S.. Some of our fruits and meats are shipped from South America and Mexico. While many of our competitors might try to save a buck by ordering food from unreliable sources, we will never do that. We are dedicated to providing you with the highest-quality food storage in the industry.
Do you offer samples?
The Ready Store offers sample-size pouches for you to try before you make a larger purchase. However, we don’t offer free samples. Click here to see more details about our sample-sized pouches.
Do you offer specialty foods such as organic, non-GMO or low-sodium foods?
While Mountain House and Saratoga Farms products are not certified organic or certified non-GMO foods, all fruits and vegetables at The Ready Store have no additives or preservatives in them. We also offer low-sodium food storage options.
How do I save a credit card to my account?
The Ready Store allows you to save a credit card in your account to make future purchases easier. Sign in to your account. Then navigate to My Payment Methods then fill out the fields for your credit card! The system is secure and your credit card information will not be shared internally or externally with anyone else.

Store Policies

Is my information ever shared or sold with other companies or individuals?
No. Your customer information, name, address, credit card information, etc. is never shared with others. You’ve entrusted us with sensitive information and we take that responsibility very seriously. You have the right to privacy. You can read more about our privacy policy here.
Do you ship outside the United States?
At this time we don’t ship outside the United States. We do work with freight forwarders if you live outside of the U.S. though. Please call us for more information.
Can you ship to a PO Box?
We don’t ship to PO Boxes at this time.
Where can I enter a coupon code or gift card?
Periodically, ready store will offer coupons or gift cards. You can use those codes by visiting your shopping cart at the top of the black menu bar. You can also click here to see your cart.
How do I return a product?
Our goal is to make sure that every customer is satisfied with their order. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your order, please contact customer service and we can take care of it. If you’d like to return a product, you can find out more information here.
How do I become an online affiliate for Ready Store?
We also allow affiliates to promote our products on their website or blog and receive compensation for any orders that come from those visitors. Click here to see more details about the affiliate program.
What are ReadyRewards™ points and how can I use them?
ReadyRewards™ is a program available to ReadyCLUB members. Members earn points with each purchase they make. The ReadyRewards™ points you earn can be redeemed for discounts on your future purchases.

You can always check how many points you have by visiting your Ready Store account. The points will automatically show in your cart if you want to spend them.
What is the ReadyCLUB?
The ReadyCLUB is an annual membership available at ReadyStore.com. Members get free shipping on all orders, a 6-month price lock in their ReadyQueue, earn rewards points with ReadyRewards and get exclusive discounts and promotions. To learn more about ReadyCLUB click here.
What is the ReadyQueue?
The ReadyQueue is a service offered by ReadyStore.com. On each product page there is a button that says "Add to ReadyQueue". This allows you to add products to a wishlist. In that wishlist, you can set a budget and tell us how frequently to ship your product. For example, you could specify that you'd like to spend $200 every month. We'll ship $200 worth of product - starting at the top of your ReadyQueue - every month until you tell us to stop or your ReadyQueue is empty.
How do I set up my ReadyQueue?
