I keep these in my 72 hour kit and my kids really like the light. The small light on the front is great because they keep them around their neck, but the compartment inside is too small for matches and the compass doesn't really work well. It is Ok.Price Value Quality

This item falls into the category of "you usually get what you pay for". Low Price is attractive, the Light is by far the upside of the 7 capabilities. The compass does not work very at all. However for children, this item is worth the cost as it comes with attached lanyard and kids will all have a light of their own. Also, the light is only activated as the button is held down, this is a good feature that makes it difficult for the batteries to be ran down. Overall I give it 3 stars.Value Quality Price
