Food Grade | BPA Free | Made in USA
• High-grade plastic container
This 55 gallon water barrel is made from 100% non-toxic food grade plastic and is BPA-free. • Up to 110 days of drinking water
The 55-gallon water container holds almost 4 months of drinking water supply for one person! (1/2 gallon per day). • All your water storage goals in one
Utilizing one large barrel rather than several small jugs minimizes clutter and frees up much needed floor space for other emergency supplies! Made with non-toxic, food-grade plastic and BPA free, this barrel comes in a blue color which restricts UV rays and helps control the growth of algae and bacteria. This thick-walled water barrel will take a beating and still continue to do its job.
Standing at under 3 feet and measuring 23 inches in diameter, this water drum will store 55 gallons of water. Add our Water Preserver and you won't have to rotate the water but once every 5 years. When it does come time to remove the water adding a siphon will make the job easy. Simply open the top cap with a bung wrench and place the siphon in the water. Depending on the type of siphon you should be a few seconds away from getting water out of the container. If you need any of these accessories take a look out our water barrel combos and save when buying them at the same time!
All barrels come with O-ring seal and can be safely stored outside even in freezing temperatures, but be sure to allow for expansion space if storing below freezing. We highly recommend the purchase of a bung wrench as well as water preserver so you can rotate the water every 5 years instead of every 6 to 12 months. Lastly, one of our siphons are also a must as it makes taking the water out of the container a breeze.
