I bought a few cans to try, and now I buy it by the case. Full cooked, takes only seconds to heat. With the high price of bacon, this is actually a pretty good deal. No mess. Great for camping, or every day use.

I ordered this when the Ready Store first got it in a couple of months ago. Who doesn't like bacon, right? These cans are deceptively small - about the size of a can of green beans from the grocery store - but the bacon comes wrapped in a long piece of wax paper, folded doubled over to fit to the size of the can. I opened it and slowly slide the thing out to look - there is a LOT of bacon in this little can! I put about 8 slices between paper towels, put in the microwave for 45 seconds, and was enjoying delicious bacon in one minute. It's true, real bacon in a can packed for fresh keeping and the price is good considering you're paying for 5+ years of freshness as well as the food. There aren't many items I really have to get more of, but this is at the top of the list.

Benefits & Description

Up to 10 Year Shelf-Life | Approx. 600 Slices | Great Tasting

Mmm…bacon
Yoders Canned Bacon is made with real pre-cooked bacon. Approx. 50 Slices of Meatiness Per Can
That is a lot of bacon to go around, and who can truly go with out bacon? No one I say! Great Anytime
Whether you’re in an emergency or eating it in your day to day living, Yoders Canned Bacon will satisfy your bacon craving. Comfort Food When You Need it Most
Take it with you camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, or just when you are in the kitchen whipping up breakfast. It’s pre-cooked and ready to go when you are. Ok folks, with Yoders Canned Bacon, we’re talking about real meat canned and ready to eat. No refrigeration is required until after you open the can so take it with you on any of your outdoor adventures. You’ll love the taste and with each can containing slices of 100% U.S. Bacon, you will be everyone’s friend at the campsite. Yoders bacon is guaranteed by the manufacturer to last 2 years but in many cases will be good for up to 10 years.

Each can comes with the equivalent of 3 lbs of raw bacon. So this case would be about 36 lbs of bacon. Of course the product in the can is precooked so don't worry about needing to cook it. We just wanted to give you a heads up on how this compares to buying bacon from the store. Of course this product has a long shelf life, other bacon won't touch the shelf life of this Yoders Canned Bacon.

During times of tragedy or natural disasters, people are looking for foods that they are familiar with to help set them at ease. Grab a few of these cans and you won’t be disappointed. And when the Mrs. catches you eating half the can, you can just say you were rotating the food storage! Be careful, the Yoders Canned Bacon is very addicting so you’ll want to pace yourself.

Volunteer to bring the bacon while camping or sign up to “cook” the bacon at your next family gathering. While everyone else is spending time to get meals prepared, all you have to do is open the can, unroll the pre-cooked bacon slices and eat. How easy is that?

NOTE:Once opened the bacon should be treated like normal meat products, refrigerate to extend open shelf life.
