  Sometimes, you can get these kits from your town for free, only sometimes when they are gathering info. I'm thinking this would be good to store and test water in your house when no one is around to tell you if it's ok or not. Good for people who have wells also.

  This is a must have product in any scenario. You need to be absolutely sure your water is clean of everything and this is the best way to make sure it is. In a disaster scenario, many small filters only can handle 20 gallons or so. Just incase you lose count, this test pack will tell you if the water is safe or not. Great for hiking/camping as well just incase you have to drink stream water.

  I like the idea of having this in each of our bug-out bags. They will save our health and peace of mind. The cost, however, is prohibitive!
