Feel secure by getting prepared.
Spigots make using your water storage a much better experience, don't leave this out of your list! Simple to operate.
Simply push the lever 180 degrees to open and close the spigot, doesn't get much easier than that. Make emergency preparedness convenient
Water containers help you to store a water supply but when it comes time to pulling water from them you are going to be glad you have the matching spigot. Our WaterBrick spigot is the easiest way to access your water storage supply. Simply stand a water brick up with the opening at the top and remove the existing cap. Place the spigot on the opening and screw tight. Lay the water container back down on its side and push the lever 180 degrees to the open position and watch as water comes flowing out.

Also, the ventless feature means there doesn't have to be a vent in the container allowing the same container to store food if no longer needed for water.

After washing with dish soap and rinsing it with clorox solution. Dry and store in a zip lock bag! It will could accidently release water if attached to water brick, while traveling.

We have over 20 5 gallon water containers. To not have back-up spigots would be foolhearty in my opinion. For the it's price it's economical insurance for the convenience.

The spigot is a must have for any purchase of the water bricks. Well built, it enhances the use of the water bricks for storage of water. Keep a spare on hand if you purchase multiple bricks as we have. as it allows you to have the convenience of use in multiple locations.

Without this, a water brick is just a brick. I bought two, to allow cleaning/rotation. Came in very handy during Hurricane Sandy.

If you're going to store water in the water bricks you'd be foolish to not have at least one of these!

Makes using the WaterBricks SO much easier than trying to hold, balance, pour water out of them. Just a twist of the lever and the water flows out! SO glad they came out with this product!

The spigot makes it easier for those of us with painful arthritis to pour a glass of water. It appears to be a quality item, and yes, it is a bit pricey, but what isn't nowadays. If you have the bricks, it is worth the investment.

Makes life easier but a little pricey for simple plastic parts

If you have the water bricks, this product makes getting water out in a controlled manner easier. Otherwise you most likely will spill some precious water. It is a little pricey considering this is all plastic and will likely wear out sooner rather than later with regular use.

The Waterbrick Ventless Spigot needs a redesign.

We purchased the Waterbrick because, as oldsters, the size would be relatively easy to handle - from storage to use point. We also purchased the spigot. Recently we had the "opportunity" to use the Waterbricks for a week while helping a relative. We were disappointed in the Waterbrick Ventless Spigot.

The Waterbrick was placed on the side of the sink so there was room to put drinking glasses below the spigot. First: It was very difficult to get the water to flow because of the lack of vent. The cap needed to be opened a bit. That did not allow "the water to come flowing out." It dribbled. Slowly. Occasionally we had to open the cap again for more air. The vent hole does not work well.

Second: When the water was half-way gone, the Waterbrick had to be placed on an incline in order for the water to leave the spigot. Balancing a ten pound piece of plastic properly was difficult. The incline needed to be increased as the water level in the Waterbrick fell.

Third: When the Waterbrick was nearly empty, it needed to be picked up and replaced at 90-degrees to get the remaining water out. But, it would not come out because of the design of the Waterbrick. The spigot attachment is indented and the water stayed in the "out" dented part.

I like the idea of the Waterbrick, but it needs a redesign.

Where the Waterbrick is the BEST, this spout could be improved. It is still the best option but there are a few areas where it could be better. You can only empty 1/2 of the water before you must tip the container on end to get the rest. (The spout was placed in the center of the cap.) Once installed, you lose the ability to carry the Waterbrick with the built in handle; you must remove this and use the cap that came with it for ease of movement. A longer wire in the handle would eliminate the carrying problem.

The ventless spigot is convenient and easy to use. It is a little pricey but I think it will last and it works well.
