microfilter vs. purifier?
They seem to be the same thing, same brand and everything, around the same price, what makes one better than the other?
From The Ready Store:
Daniele, the purifier removes virus and everything else while the microfilter gets everything but the viruses. In the US the microfilter is good enough for most situations but abroad you'd want the purifier.

Wont find them cheaper
This is the same price you will find anywhere, except here you get the points for your account. at some point, no matter how huge your water storage, you will run out, and in that case you need this without a doubt. The purifier is good, but you will need a spare or two. they are pricey, but when a storm, earthquake, or whatever happens and the drinking water is tainted, you will think it was a small price to pay. Hurricane Katrina proved that it isnt just the flooding and debris killing people, it is people who drink bad water and die from dehydration from pooing (technical term) themselves to death. a must have for m kit and should be for yours.
Great for Bug out Bag
I purchased this and it is great for my bug out bag. A little pricey but lot better than lugging around water:)Reliable Brand
great for anytime
This is a great bottle that is good for anytime. I take mine to the gym with me so I know I have clean water to drink. These would be great for BOB's as well.
Ideal Size and price for those on the go
I was looking at all the water purifiers but most are a lot larger and costlier than this one. It's a perfect size for a BOB and/or including in your "single-vehicle bug out plan" for when packing space is at a premium. Go ahead and get an extra filter or two and you'll have enough water purification to get you and several others through turbulent times or the journey to your bugout location. Once there, it's ideal for scouting since it's so portable and will help keep you hydrated all day. Perfect for hiking and camping too!
