June 18th, 2009 at 12:01 pmThe Ready Store has been great to work with. I have been ordering stuff for the last few years and never been disapointed. From food, stove’s and all emergency needs the Ready Store is the first place I look.

This kit would be ideal no matter where you live or what the circumstances of the emergency. An emergency doesn’t have to be a natural disaster. It’s anything that would cause you to be without basic life-sustaining essentials. What peace of mind this would bring to know at least you would have food, water and shelter no matter what happened.
June 18th, 2009 at 12:01 pmI hope I win.
June 18th, 2009 at 12:02 pmLong time believer, first time commenter!

June 18th, 2009 at 12:02 pmThis is something every family should have. I live in earthquake territory and I know we could have “The Big One” at any moment. This is something that I would want to keep in my car to be ready wherever I am when the big quake hits.
June 18th, 2009 at 12:02 pmI need this emergency kit bad. I live in Florida. I have gone thru several hurracaines including Andrew. I lived in Homestead, ground zero. I wish I had something like this back then. Since then I have being committed to be ready for any emergency. This Kit would help my family and I survive in case of any natural disaster that is almost guarantee to happen in beautiful Florida. Thanks for your site.
June 18th, 2009 at 12:03 pmThe information contained on this site is very valuable and well worth exploring for your personal and business preparedness. Sean Hannity will have a special on the consequences of a terrorist attach tonight on his show.

June 18th, 2009 at 12:06 pmgood website. I am interested in you posting a story on me getting a 14 day food and supply into a small car with 3 or 4 people. Roof racks or a small trailer? what to leave behind that is not needed. George Sansom

I would like to participate in your contest but the social sites you are asking the public to use often end up creating identify theft issues among other problems. I encourage you to try something different for your contests or please drop me from from your data base and all your email offers.

On a more serious note, though, TheReadyStore has some great products and the prices are good too. I have also noticed that, unlike other similar sites, TRS doesn’t have a lot of the cheap, inferior products.

June 18th, 2009 at 1:22 pmI really like your products, although I have yet to purchase something. I’m trying to really narrow things down but there seems to be a whole that I want to put in an emergency kit. When I look at my list it looks more like I’m going camping for five for about four days! I have three kids and REALLY need to put their supplies together ASAP. How would I stock if one of my kids has a breathing treatment?
June 18th, 2009 at 1:25 pm“FREE DELUXE 72-Hr-Kit GIVEAWAY!” sounds like a great idea for you and your customers.

June 18th, 2009 at 2:19 pmyay!
June 18th, 2009 at 2:23 pmI’m glad to get the word out because I think you have a great web site with a great product selection to address very real problems that ANYONE might wind up having to deal with.
Having said that, I don’t see any way to address the entry (2) and entry (3) options. I follow IMReadyMan on Twitter, but cannot DM you because you’re not following me. I set up a Facebook account some time ago and decided this would be a good time to start using it – but after searching and searching and searching within Facebook, I can’t find ReadyNation, ReadyNation Facebook Group or The Ready Nation.
June 18th, 2009 at 2:23 pmReady, but would be more prepared with a free kit:)
June 18th, 2009 at 2:23 pmPlease enter me in the give away. I have been building my supplies to support my family and also me as I serve in the Tennessee State Guard. Your site is helping me to stay ready for both.
June 18th, 2009 at 2:24 pmYou need to rent the Kevin Costner movie, “The Postman” to get an idea where this country is quite possibly headed. So, it’s absolutely necessary that we get Ready for whatever might be coming our way. Even the Boy Scouts know to “Be Prepared” !!!
June 18th, 2009 at 2:24 pmI will give this a try. The kit looks good.
June 18th, 2009 at 2:24 pmBe prepared for Hurricane season with the Ready Store.
June 18th, 2009 at 2:40 pmYou guys are awesome!
I hope I win!!
June 18th, 2009 at 2:46 pmI am so glad to have found The ReadyStore. I am new to food storage and prepping, and can use all the help I can find! I also have not gotten my 72 hour bag together yet, so winning one would really help me!
June 18th, 2009 at 2:47 pmFran
Sweet!
June 18th, 2009 at 2:48 pmYou know there has never been a time that emergency preparedness has been more crutial. Society as a whole has become so dometicated that a major crisis is devestating. Look at what happend in the last few years; Katrina, Rita, Ike. many whose homes were not destroyed were displaced for some time. Having supplies on hand is always a necessity.

June 18th, 2009 at 2:48 pmI love this site! Even though I can’t afford to buy as much as I would like right now, I love getting the e-mails with advice and notes and I keep them in a file so that when I do get some spare money ahead, I can start building beyond the basics. And I share the info too with the memebers of my CERT group.
June 18th, 2009 at 2:50 pmLove looking at all the things you have to sell. It always keeps me sharp!

June 18th, 2009 at 3:19 pmI’m putting in another commment for two reasons –
First, my comment a while back about not being able to use the Twitter or Facebook options was only one post for two options.
But that’s just an excuse for the REAL reason -
Second, I would REALLY love to win this emergency kit.
Whatever the outcome, though, I really am getting the word out that your site is the go-to place for everything having to do with emergency preparedness or survival.
June 18th, 2009 at 3:23 pmYou guys help me sleep at night!
June 18th, 2009 at 3:26 pmIt is ALL ways good to be prepared because you never know what mother nature has in store. kathy beyer from Maryland
I found The Ready Store by accident and am extremely grateful that I did. We are trying to establish a 6 month supply of food in as short a time as possible and the Ready Store has been a Godsend. They are one of the few sites that offer free shipping, which has allowed us to purchase much more than we could have at other sites. Everyone should be prepared for any type of unexpected event that could disrupt the distribution system or financial services industry in this country. Who wants to risk their lives battling the hoard of frightened people fighting each other to get the food that MAY be on the grocery store shelves AFTER an event happens.
June 18th, 2009 at 8:57 pmLove the Ready Store!
June 18th, 2009 at 9:00 pmohhh i hope i win!

June 19th, 2009 at 10:45 am72 hrs? Let’s see… If I let the kids loose in the desert around here (Arizona) and challenge them to find their way home (since moss grows on the southwest side of cactus (LOL!), does that mean the kit will last twice as long?!!!
Seriously; thanks for everything you do. Wish I could afford to get even more of your wonderful products.
Peace.
June 19th, 2009 at 11:22 amI was finally able to find and join The Ready Nation group on Facebook! Anyone else have a problem with it coming up in a search?

June 19th, 2009 at 2:12 pmThe bug-out packs are becoming better kits each time you revise them, but you need another update: better quality, heavier-duty made packs; and, I am not comfortable giving my wife or kids a bright red pack in a disaster. Just won’t buy one that will point out my own to looters or other bad guys.
June 19th, 2009 at 2:49 pmWould live to get the free giveaway!! I have ordered before and love the stuff!!

June 22nd, 2009 at 7:06 pmFolks, an emergency situation could happen to anybody….next time it could be YOU! Better to be prepared first. Late this past January, several states including Arkansas, southern Missouri, and most of Kentucky were hit by a devastating ice storm that left many people out of electricity for weeks. Didn’t make much news, did it? Maybe because most of us were READY first!

August 1st, 2009 at 1:22 pmUnless I missed it, there should be information on use of gasoline generators along with the do’s and don’ts!. With the recent increased population in Southwest Fl., the officials are now more prone to tell us to buckle down and stay home because the highways cannot manage the expected influx of get-a-way cars clogging up the system. Emphasis should be placed on preparing the generators for use along with storage of gasoline and how to keep it fresh and ready!
August 24th, 2009 at 11:30 amproper and safe use of gasoline generators should be detailed along with safe storage of gasoline!
August 24th, 2009 at 11:32 amgreat stuff, look forward to more great products
September 11th, 2009 at 9:49 pmI’ve been getting stuff ready for emergencies for a little while now, but I would like to know if the freeze dried food can be carried with me for camping trips out of the country, or will it fall under the same restrictions as carrying other foods abroad.
September 27th, 2009 at 11:30 amI actually really like the layout that that you are using, is it custom produced?
