Not enough calories to eat as a stand alone one serving meal, but you can add many different things to add variety day after day. If nothing else is around you could double up on servings, which would compare the same as the other soups as far as servings and calories goes.

I came across a generic brand of powdered coffee creamer at a supermarket where I live that doubles as a soup base. The first ingredient in this is non-dairy creamer. Although is does have chicken fat listed 1/2 way down the list of ingredients, I plan to try this as coffee creamer too.

This is great for making mushroom and many other soups to cook with. Basically, just add the freeze dried mushrooms, onions, celery, or whatever you want to make. Sure will save on buying individual cans of soup.

This is a great soup base! It really helps extend the usefulness of other ingredients in your food storage and prevent food fatigue. I'd advise adding different bouillon powders to change the flavor of the cream base.

This is great for making soups and cook with. Just add the freeze dried mushrooms, onions, carrots, celery, or any other vegetables/meats. I will be buying more of these. It is delicious and much cheaper than buying individual cans of different soups.

Benefits & Description

Up to 20 Year Shelf-Life | DIY Flexibility | Great Taste

Don't Worry about Restocking
Saratoga Farms™ Creamy Soup Base has a 20 year shelf-life. Stay Healthy During a Disaster
Great for the base of creative cooking. Make all kinds of meals with other supplies like chicken, beans, chicken and beef bouillon, and much more! Make Food Storage Flexible
With Do It Yourself flexibility use the contents in a myriad of recipes. Protect Your Family and Your Investments
With a hermetically sealed and double-enameled #10 can, your food storage will keep its fresh flavor and remain isolated from harmful elements, chemicals, and pests. When people start to think about starting their food storage, everyone knows that they need wheat and sugar, and most people know that you also need instant milk and salt. But not many know how valuable having a soup base can be. Making soup base from scratch requires a number of tricky ingredients, takes a long time, and can be quite labor-intensive. If you're just starting your food storage or if you're a pro who is just looking for anything you can do to make your supply more complete, this creamy soup base is a great idea! It can be combined with so many different ingredients, it's healthy and tasty, and it keeps for up to 30 years.

In an emergency, you don't want to be worrying about where you'll be getting your food. If a natural disaster like an earthquake or winter storm hits, you need to be worrying about you and your family's health and safety, and being distracted or hungry could affect everyone negatively. This creamy soup base is ready just from adding water to it, and it can help simplify your life--whether or not you're in the middle of a natural disaster. Personal emergencies, like injuries or illnesses, can cause just as much panic and worry as a storm or a heavy flood. But with Saratoga Farms™ Creamy Soup Base, you can rest easy, knowing that you will always have something to work with if disaster ever strikes. Remember: having comprehensive food storage can prevent you from falling ill or being otherwise inconvenienced during an emergency. If you prepare well enough, you and your family can avoid tragedy!

Saratoga Farms™ is a well-known and respected food storage company that makes and sells traditional basic dried and dehydrated foods. These foods are second to none in terms of quality and taste.
