  My wife and I tried this and found it very easy to prepare. She thought the taste was good and would feel comfortable eating in time of need. I thought the taste was very good and will not wait for a time of need to finish off the can. The can was packed full and a super value at the sale price and will buy more.

  You cant beat the price, the volume and the taste. Im confident that Saratoga Farms is the way to go. If my wife and mother in law love it, trust me, so will you. Good luck my fellow preppers and enjoy.

  Is there any better comfort food than Bacon Potato Chowder? Maybe Mac and Cheese but it's a close call. This will make me feel like everything is OK when I can have a steaming bowl of chowder. Throw on a couple crushed crackers and it's a feast.

  This is the most amazing Bacon Potato Chowder I've ever had! It's was a huge hit at a recent "Prepper Practice" we hosted for local preppers. We've found that in order to get the potatoes to come out right, make sure your water is really hot and cover the container while waiting.

  Although I have not sampled this soup, who would not be impressed after reading the can label. "Bacon Potato Chowder" sounds like a wonderful emergency food storage ingredient. I'll open it if there is an emergency and I know I will not be disappointed that this food is available for me and my family. Thank you to all Latter Day Saints. You have helped me prepare...not for an "end"...but for a quality "new beginning". Emergencies do not have to be doomsdays. Whether it be storms by mother nature or freak accidents, I am preparing as the weeks roll on by storing more of your delicious foods.

  Purchased this on the "daily special" price. I picked up six cans for our emergency, or just in case kit. We did open one to try and it was very good, thick like a chowder, and quite filling. I will be watching for this to go on sale again.

  I added bacon and cheese, taste just like a resturant soup makes you wonder just what they really use. I still have to get another to save.

  Tasty enough, but I would not buy it again because the "Bacon" is actually Textured Vegetable Protein made from soy . and (non-organic soy is GMO 99.999% of the time). I should have read the ingredients prior to purchase.

  We liked the taste of this product, but weren't very pleased with the texture. I gave it to my aged parents, and they are crazy about it.

  Nothing like a nice thick soup to warm your insides and give you some much needed comfort. The taste is good and we added some more cheese and a little cooked onion. yummys it was good and filling. The grandkids really liked it and asked for more!

  This is a great product that is good even on any normal day. It tastes great for a quick meal and will keep for a year once opened too. Bacon is tvp, but still tastes like normal bacon, but its good for you. It has a ridiculously long shelf life too. This is a must have for any disaster preparedness storage.

  I got this in the soups and stews readypack. Today being a cold and wet day i didnt want to go grill the porkchops i had thawed, so i let my daughter go through the cans i have in storage and she has been dying to try this one. It is packed full and the quality is great. It tastes very good and is extremly filling so it doesnt take alot to make a meal. Im very happy with this chowder and will be adding more to my storage.   We tried the soup last night and found it was far better than a grocery store potato chowder I purchased a few weeks ago. Only thing about the taste that I didn't care for was seemed to have more seasoning than I personally like. Needed more flavor of bacon too. Hubby LOVED it and wanted us to purchase more for storage.

  I've been so impressed with the Saratoga Farms brand. I was afraid they'd be second rate compared to MH, but I love them and totally would recommend them to friends.

  This is a good quality soup that is filling and has great satiety--its a comfort food for me! The soup's consistency is more like homemade if you give it at least an hour for the potatoes to rehydrate. In fact, it is at its best warmed up the next day. Highly recommend it in your storehouse, but you better get two cans because you are going to use this item for regular periodic serving.

  Really good potato chowder. One caveat, we found it best (in non-prepper situations) to put this in a crock pot for several hours. Wow! Awesome.

  I am a sucker for potato soups, and I couldn't resist buying this. I plan to try it soon, and if I like it add it to my storage. From all the other reviews this seemed to be a no brainer.
