An exciting new honey spread!
6 of 11 people found this review helpfulCan't wait to get this raw creamed honey for my family. We'll use it as a spread on toast, or frosting on cakes and breads. Raw honey has excellent medicinal qualities as well.

shelf life of honey
5 of 9 people found this review helpfulI am very excited about this honey! It was a good value as I got it as the deal of the day. However, I understood it to have an indefinate shelf life but the bucket says use by Aug. 15, 2017. Did I misunderstand?
From The Ready Store:
Marlene, we just spoke with Cox's and they said the shelf life is indefinite. According to the customer service rep they put the date on the pail to encourage use. We told them we would like to see it removed as it communicating bad information. They said they would consider it and get back to us.
Long story short, the honey has an indefinite shelf life. Hope this helps,

A quality item
5 of 9 people found this review helpfulAbsolutely delicious. A quality product for adding to other dishes or just dip out a spoonful and enjoy. Softens nicely at 70 degrees and sweetens everything it touches. I try to have a spoonful every day. I ordered several and am sure I will reorder before very long. Make a good day a great day and enjoy some of this delicious Honey.

Needed extra
3 of 5 people found this review helpfulI'm starting to get into more natural food pantry items. This looks like it would be really great on top of biscuits or scones. I also make dog biscuits and dogs are not supposed to eat sugar but the recipe book allows honey. I don't know if there is a difference from raw honey to regular honey, but it is good to have on hand for people anyway.

Best Tasting and Most Healthy Honey Available!
5 of 7 people found this review helpfulWe received our buckets of the Raw Creamed Honey about a week ago. As always with the Ready Store, the tubs were securely packed and shipped arriving to us undamaged. We immediately stored the extra tubs in an area of the home that stays under 65 degrees F. We have been using our opened tub in food recipes, as well as on hot biscuits and toasts. I use it daily with my Green Tea. We place our opened tub of honey in the refrigerator. Whether stored in the refigerator (NOT freezer) or not, the consistency of the raw honey in the tub reminds me of frozen ice cream: you can either use a scope, or butter knife to "cut" the portion you want out. I carefully use a teaspoon by holding the spoon on the curved cup part--not the handle as it may bend the handle if dipped out too aggressive.
Hopefully, if (when!) a major critical incident occurs in the U.S., honey bees and American bee farmers will be able to reset their operations. Meanwhile, this Raw Creamed Honey will fill that void until they do. Blessings!11/27/12

Great taste, great value
2 of 4 people found this review helpfulGreat taste and value. Local honey can cost about $10 per small bottle, this is much cheaper and tastes the same. Great for ginger tea too when you catch a cold. Ginger tea and honey seriously cures colds faster than any medicine Ive tried.

We love this honey!
2 of 4 people found this review helpfulMy husband and son are huge creamed honey fans. This is the best creamed honey we have ever bought. We purchased several tubs for long term storage. I refill a one pound container for convenience to store and bring to the table. It scoops out nicely with no mess. This will be the most rotated item in our food storage. I will continue to purchase this excellent product on a regular basis.

Love It !
2 of 4 people found this review helpfulSo good, I want to eat this stuff right out of the bucket. This is the first time that i have used creamed honey and it's wonderful. I purchased this brand, because it is "Raw". I can only find Raw honey at specialty stores in my area, and it is very Expensive. These Buckets are a good price - We use honey in our coffee & tea, in baking, and for making granola. I plan to buy more soon !

By the way, just have to add that the Readystore people are the very best, along with the service and policies.......just wouldn't shop anyplace else.

Love this honey!!!
0 of 1 people found this review helpfulCox's honey is actually a local product for me so we purchase this all the time. I LOVE this honey! I have tried many other brands and this is by far our favorite creamed honey. We have stored these for years without any problems. Definitely a must-have food storage item.

question
3 of 5 people found this review helpfulHow does the packaging on this product hold up for long term storage? I'm a fan of raw honey and this is a great price, but I'm worried about leakage if it gets too warm & critters getting into it... I'm also concerned about the temps for proper storage - my storage area is inside, but limited & temps can vary greatly in the southwest if you try to conserve on heating & cooling costs...
From The Ready Store:
The temps should not matter in your case. Honey can be brought back to normal consistency by merely warming it back up. Many do it by putting it in a container then putting that container in boiling water.12/30/12
