Pleasantly Surprised
44 of 89 people found this review helpfulWe have been ordering our long term food storage little by little, but with the exception of a few of the MRE's and the freeze dried Ice Cream Sandwiches, we had not tried anything else. We decided before ordering anything else we would try on of the cans we had ordered...at a random choice we picked the Mountain House Pasta Primavera. We cooked it as per the instructions on the can and were extremely happy with the result. It was slightly watery at first, but letting it set for a few minutes solved that. The taste was very good and after I left for work, my girlfriend served it to unexpected friends who dropped by and they loved it too. The only thing negative is the high sodium content....other than that..highly recommended.

VERY tasty...
11 of 20 people found this review helpfulI tried this in a single pouch and was truly impressed so I just purchased a can for long-term storage. You certainly see a lot of comments about how much more per serving this costs compared to Saratoga Farms. I've never tried SF but I can tell you THIS -- if it's taste you're most concerned about, THIS is for you. I'd recommend about a third less water, and perhaps a little salt, but it's loaded with veggies, flavor, pasta. You won't be disappointed.

A vegetarian-Italian dish that caught my eye!
2 of 4 people found this review helpfulAlthough this product is moderately high in salt it is not as high as some of your other product. This fact coupled with the varied vegetables and cheesy carb ingredients made this an easy choice for my family - especially the grandkids.
