I have had MRE crackers in the past and they were super dry, but this bread was actually moist and you could tare it apart. I buy this so I can have some bread in my food storage. It is a little expensive but worth it for me.

This is plain on its own, but that's what the MRE condiment packets are for! Try with peanut butter or jelly...yum.

This isn't as good as the flat bread. While this ins't bad, it's not the best either. However, you need to kee in mind I'm not really a fan of wheat bread (I think it all tastes like cardboard). This is like what you get in a loaf at the grocery stroe, except it lasts longer. If you like wheat bread, you will like this (my wife certainly does!).

These are good, but not by themselves. You guys should also sell the cheese or jam packets along side these. Without anything extra they are dense and make you thirsty. They are filling though.

A very dense bread like imitation. Think taking cheap flavorless bread and smashing a slice down to a 3 x 3 square only slightly thicker than a cracker. I'll just eat peanut butter off the spoon. Not worth the weight, space or expense.

This bread was okay, but it is definitely not very good by itself. It wasn't too bad with peanut butter on it.

      • Difference Between My MREs and the Military MREs?

The short answer is no. The civilian MREs and the military MREs that are made for the Department of Defense are made on the same production lines at the same time.  The main difference is in the packaging. DOD MREs will have specific military packaging that indicates that they are for U.S. military use and ...
