  The cheese tortellini is ok could have used some more spices, same with the chilli mac, but the southwest style chicken was sooooo good. it tastes like a good homemade chili.

  This has a lot of food in it! Plus water, you really won't have to worry about much after you get this! I feel like you would have some desserts left over, there are a lot included.

  I bought this to add to my existing emergency food supply. What I got was not exactly what is listed in the product description, but I think I got the better of the deal.
  Instead of getting the "27 Aqua Blox 8.5oz Water Boxes" listed, I got "56 Datrex 4.227oz Water Pouches". I like this better for the easier water rationing.
  
  I am sure every order will probably be different, but here is what I got:
  7 full MREs - consisted of 5 different styles.
  14 extra entrees - consisted of a selection of 4 different styles.
  14 extra desserts - consisted of a selection of 11 desserts of 2 different styles and 3 cornbread stuffing side dishes. Stuffing for dessert.....I look forward to trying it.
  
  All in all, I think this is a great addition to your emergency food supply or for a camping trip. I just wish this came with 14 additional "Pouches of Salt Water" to go with the 14 additional MRE heaters.

  Robert, you are correct there was a substitution with the water on your order. As for your wish of it coming with more salt water pouches I will add that to the list of customer feedback which we look at when it comes to improving our kits. Just so you know you can add any liquid to the heater to get it started, some even use some creative means to do so such as urine. Of course in this case make sure you clean off the MRE pouch well before tearing it open!

  This is a good deal and I can tell you from somebody who was in the military, that these are good to have around in an emergency. They are very filling and they keep you full for a long time. I purchase the one month suppy also, the best thing about MRE'S is you get a hot meal.
