    These are a must have for MRE's. Yes they can be a little pricey but it beats eating cold MRE's if you have to. These travel very well too and dont require fire either, which I think makes them better than fuel tablets and a travel stove.

    I was reading a story about a Hurricane survivor on the east coast recently. For some reason, I never think of being in a bug-out situation when it is cold outside. I think if a person is planning on buying the pouches, you might as well buy these too, just in case it is cold outside when you need them.

    We all know the benefits of MREs, so I won't get into that. What I will get into is the psychological benefit of having a warm meal. A cold day and a cold meal can make your days rough. However, just adding a warm meal into the mix can make all the difference. For that reason, I stock a few of these with my MREs. I don't have a 1:1 ratio of heaters to MREs, but I know that if I need a warm meal I just need to add water and I'm eating a hot meal in a few minutes.

    This is a must seeing as the case of 24 entrees does not come with heaters. I wish that these could just be bundled together at a special price. Entrees do not have to be heated, but they are much better when they are.
