one entree - too much sodium
240 of 414 people found this review helpfulWhile all other entrees are o.k., the Buffalo Style Sauce With Chicken has (per the box label)2, 240 mg of sodium /93% of daily value. in one serving. Anyone with blood pressure issues should avoid this completely.

Excellent food that I can keep handy
30 of 59 people found this review helpfulWhen going on short hikes, much better than having power bars. When driving long distances, excellent to leave in your trunk as a nice warm meal no matter where you end up, even if it is the middle of no where to star gaze.

A lot of food
4 of 7 people found this review helpfulThis is a great bulk price for people who don't want the big 72 entree case. Great for a couple to have a good start on 72hrs of food.

On sale it's def worth the price
1 of 4 people found this review helpfulOK so it not Olive Garden but its not that bad. I would recommend the heater for a hot meal. The taste is better than the canned stuff and would do great when in a hurry. Kids seem to like the pasta dishes the best.

Great Value!!
I try to get what I can when I can. I try to budget aside an amount each month for prepping supplies. Sometimes I have a little left over to purchase things like this. This is a great value for the money and it is cheap enough that you can keep your shelves stocked without breaking the bank. Please note, however, that MREs should only be a portion of your food storage.

What No Heaters?
302 of 543 people found this review helpfulSo I bought a case of 24 for the elk hunt this year. I got the package & realized that I forgot to buy some flameless heaters. I spoke to a nice girl at the call center and she told me I can heat up my MRE's by putting the entree in a cup of hot water form my camp fire, I didn't know that the MRE's are that versatile.

good for groups
4 of 7 people found this review helpfulIf you are traveling around in a larger group, this case could be good for you. At around $3.50 an entree it's beneficial for large groups that don't want to deal with carrying the extra water to make mountain house meals or worry about portions. They do weigh more though.

Not much variety here
66 of 121 people found this review helpfulFour different meals were included in the box. Six of each type. Not anything the other reviewers found to be delicious. Mostly beans! Would not buy again.
