    These are great not only for heating up your mre's , but also for warmth when you don't want to be seen by smoke from a fire and they make it very easy to start a nice big fire when there is not a lot of tinder around!

    I got some of these to go along with some individual MRE entrees that did not come with their own heaters. Very handy and easy to use. I have not done this, but I can imagine they could also heat up a cup up liquid if placed on top of it while you are heating your food.

    These are a must have for MRE's. Yes they can be a little pricey but it beats eating cold MRE's if you have to. These travel very well too and dont require fire either, which I think makes them better than fuel tablets and a travel stove.

    Most MREs only come with one of these and it really makes things nicer to have an extra one so you dont have to eat them cold. They don't weigh much and the extra convenience is way worth it. Store them someplace cool though, I left some in the garage all summer and they stopped working.

    These are just like the MRE heaters sold in multi packs. They are cheaper per unit if you purchase a multi pack. Otherwise, these things are great if you want to turn your MRE into a hot meal! Just add water, wait a couple minutes and your hot meal awaits you!

    This site doesn't sell a full meal without the heaters or single entrees, so I don't see why there is a need for this. I guess it's always good to have extras.

    I got some of these to go along with some individual MRE entrees that did not come with their own heaters. Very handy and easy to use. I have not done this, but I can imagine they could also heat up a cup up liquid if placed on top of it while you are heating your food.
