"This was a strange one; I tried eating it as a standalone dessert, but could not eat more than a couple of bites (Not because the flavor was bad). The raspberry flavor was outstanding and the texture thick, but it tasted more like a jam than a dessert. Initially I was disappointed until I realized that just because they call it a dessert doesn’t mean I have to use it that way. I put some on a cracker and the raspberry flavor popped, on bread with peanut butter and wow. I got a little creative and put some in the oatmeal and cream of wheat and we had a winner. Don’t let the labels limit your imagination; variety makes the emergency go much smoother."

Pros: Long Shelf-Life, Easily Portable
Cons: Acceptable Taste
