    I bought this tool at a local sportsman shop several months ago before The Ready Store got it. This knife is wonderful. It is strong, durable, and the fire starter is easy to use.I just wish I had waited and bought it from the ready store because they have it for 15 dollars less than what I paid for it. Get this knife and other Bear Grylls items. You will not be disappointed!!!

    I love this knife. Very well designed. The most comfortable one I have held in my hand. Very sturdy if you dont try to chop down a tree with it. The sheath is very well thought out and holds the knife firmly. It also has a fire steel and sharpener. Much better than a hollow grip and a few matches. Got a good deal on it at The Ready Store. Thanks.

    First of all, this is a Gerber knife, which means the quality and craftsmanship is outstanding!

    Second, this "knife" is actually a neat "set." Included is the knife, sheath with sharpening stone, fire starter and mini survival guide. I have used the fire starter and it works great! The sheath is nice and will protect the blade while you are out and about. The mini survival guide is a nice touch too!

    You'd be wise to throw one in your bug out bag!

    Soft steel blade, chips easily. Heavy, not suitable for packing. There are countless quality blades on the market for only slightly more. Gerber does not make quality products, but they do add a premium for the Bear Grylls branding. Don't waste your time or money.

The knife's 4.75-inch half-serrated drop point blade cuts quickly and has an ergonomic rubber handle for easy use. The Bear Grylls Survival Series Ultimate Knife has a 4.75-inch drop-point blade. The blade is half serrated making for quick and easy cutting. The blade is made from stainless steel which keeps the blade sharper for longer - saving you time and money in maintaining your blade. The knife is lightweight and durable- only 11.2 ounces (14.72 ounces with sheath) - keeping your pack lighter and easier to use.

The knife's handle is made from non-slip rubber grip allowing you to be accurate in your handling and usability. The handle is also formed ergonomically to create the most comfortable use possible. The handle is durable with a stainless steel pommel that can be used for hammering or pounding. The handle also has two holes that allow you to lash the knife to a pole or stick to create a spear.
