    I like this one much better than the other ice cream type, it's like a freeze dried oreo or something. A good dessert for an emergency that doesn't require any cooking or water.

    This product is very satisfying. Crunchy chocolate wafers sandwiching delicious vanilla "ice cream" that gives a nice crunch when you bite into it. It's the next best thing to having a real ice cream sandwich. Once you buy these though, you better hide them from your kids or they will be GONE! Highly recommended.

    I just received several of the ice cream sandwiches to try out for my long term storage. Of course, I had to open one to see what it was all about and to give it a taste test. These are great little sweet treats, with a crunchy ice cream flavor. I want to add more of them to my food storage--We LOVE these! Great price, too, considering they cost twice as much in our local 'outdoor, hunting' stores. Thanks, Ready Store!

    It was very good once you got over the fact it wasn't cold. I took it out of the package and shared it with a group. My 5 year old niece doesn't try anything new and she tried it and wanted more.

    This is much better than the regular ice cream, it's more of a candy bar though. Still has an odd texture, but it's a good treat that won't melt all over you.

    The idea of a freeze-dried ice cream sandwich sounded interesting and I had to try it. The bar looked pretty much like a standard size ice cream bar with the paper wrapper and all. The vanilla ice cream is delicious! The chocolate wafers are very crunchy when freeze-dried and taste good, but the ice cream is the best part by far.

    While the quality of the ice cream is very good, the packers use the pouches as 'packing material' to cushion other items in the box: Hence, the ice cream sandwiches arrive SHATTERED or BROKEN.
    I think they need to be packed in their own box.
