I have a dog with a huge appetite and small body. Research led me to fresh veggies. Green beans are the best because low fat & low carbs. Tired of chopping fresh beans, I tried these. WOW! Good for him and easy for me! I can eat them too. He gets filled up & I get peace.

Veggies are so important in our diets. It's nice to have some on hand if I ever need it.
Great Tasting-Close to Fresh3 of 5 people found this review helpful
I detest canned vegetables. I have always used fresh or frozen. These are great and a lot less expensive per serving than grocery store products.

Always have fresh tasting green beans available whether in season or not. Much better than canned or frozen green beans. Never have to worry about spoiling and very easy to use.

We got these to keep in our long term storage. We love that they last 25 years and that they taste good too.

I noticed a lot of donated cans of green beans in the donation bin on TV. Which, to me, means that people aren't eating green beans. But keep in mind, they are a natural source of vitamins and natually low in calories; so a person can add green beans to almost anything, soup or saucy meal and get bulk without the calories.
A great addition to food storage2 of 3 people found this review helpful
If you have ever attemped to dehydrate your own fruit or vegetables, you will learn how time consuming and expensive it will be. For the price this is a great value for a high quality and tasy product. No more concerns about freshness or spoilage. No more cleaning up before cooking. Makes a great addition for daily use or for extended storage.

This is the first SF freeze dried product I have tried. I decided to open it up to experiment with my long term food storage. After sampling the green beans right from the can, I decided to rehydrate them. I was so pleasantly surprised, that I am planning to add them to my homemade chicken soup. Using SF freeze dried veggies instead of frozen, will free up much needed freezer space with me as I prepare my winter soups and stews. Very well done SF! And I love that the country of origin is the USA!

We add this to the crock pot when cooking Venison Sausage and let then cook all day, add the Mountain House carrots and you have a great full meal that's ready when you get home after work.

One of my first attempts at cooking with freeze dried. Could not be easier!!! In fact freeze dried will cut my cooking and prep time down and clean up! I cant wait to have a fully stocked freeze dried pantry!!!
