Love, love, love it! I use the corn, carrots, and peas all of the time. I keep having to buy more to re-stock my stash. Some prepper I am! We made homemade "soup in a jar" as gifts for Christmas, and the layers of corn, carrots, and peas looked beautiful. Everyone of my friends and family that made it raved about the taste. Thank you Ready Store for making me look good! Want a fast easy meal idea? Ramen noodles with a handful of dried veggies....yummm! Your family actually thinks that you worked hard at it ;-)
THIS IS A BASIC PANTRY INGREDIENT EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR.6 of 11 people found this review helpful
THE CONVENIENCE OF HAVING CARROTS ON HAND FOR DAILY USE IN MY FAMILY'S MENUS IS INVALUABLE. i UTILIZE THESE DELICIOUS CARROTS IN MY CHICKEN AND BEAN SOUPS, STEWS AND MARINARRA SAUCE FOR USE IN RICE AND PASTA DISHES.
AN Absolute MUST1 of 4 people found this review helpful
We were very happy with the service and the product received. A great way to supplement your food storage or for daily use. Just try to dehydrate your own vegetables and see how much time it takes and how costly it would be to fill a #10 can. You come out ahead purchasing the product from the Ready Store everytime.
Great Addition to Supplies0 of 1 people found this review helpful
It seems I was always missing the carrot sales! Everytime I went to order they were always out of stock. Finally got the timing right and got 2 cans. Tried them tonight and wish I had gotten more! Really great mixed with peas. Looks as good as it tastes.
stews and casseroles
great for stews, casseroles, and soups (chicken noodle) yum!
Slowly but surely finding the best foods to keep in my long term storage. This is one of them.
This is such a great product to have on hand. It taste great, even without rehydrating.
Great for stew
This is a nice product to throw in stews. Add these carrots, some potatoes, corn, and some beef chunks for a delicious stew!
The only ingredient is CARROTS
The only ingredient is CARROTS. Taste Great! It is normally a task to get my children to eat their vegetables. They usually pick the vegetables out of the soup and place them in their napkins, but not with these carrots. They ate them without any argument.
A great value for this nutritious vegetable.
Vitamin A food would be scarce during an emergency. Dehydrated carrots in a can are my family's insurance for good nutrition even in emergency situations.
A great sale price for a high nutrition vegetable. .
Sending this as part of a gift package because I really believe in the value of this product. Wonderful to add to soups and stews!
These are delicious in homemade soup.
Great tasting product and much easier to purchase like this than to dehydrate yourself. I dehydrate things all the time, but you would need a boat load of carrots to get the amount you get in one of these cans. Taste good and easily re-hydrate as well. I use these for soups and stews mainly, but I'm sure they have many other uses as well.
Love the Flavor Boost.
These add color, flavor and a vitamin boost to everything to which they are added. I love having these as an option in my food storage. No more sagging carrots in my vegetable bin.
Good Additon to Long Term Food Stores.0 of 1 people found this review helpful
I was happy to add a veggie from the "yellow group" , to round out my long tern food stores. Happy to see the only ingedient is : Carrots (No Artificial stuff added).
I was so hppy to find Carrots in your offerings.
I wouldn't know how to make soups and stews without carrots!
Perfect for Soups
Threw these in with some saratoga farms diced potatos, and mixed vegtables, and made a great tasting chicken soup. My wife jokingly called it " Saratoga Soup"
