    This is our first encounter with this type of product. We found the re-hydration process to be quick and easy. We've eaten the re-hydrated cheddar in salads and cooked with it to make baked macaroni and cheese. We're glad it's part of our storage plan.

    CHEESE IS A BELOVED FOOD OF ALL MY FAMILY MEMBERS. TO BE ABLE TO HAVE IT IN MY "SUPPLY BANK" IS INDEED GOOD FORTUNE FOR MY FAMILY. IT CAN BE ADDED TO FREEZE DRIED EGGS, PASTA, RICE, BROCCOLI AND CAULIFLOWER FOR ADDED NUTRITION AND FLAVOR.

    I love cheese, and was a little unsure about freeze dried cheese; but it re-hydrates very nicely. It retains a nice flavor. In an emergency or natural disaster, I can not imagine life without cheese. This product is a geat item for the emergency pantry. (tasty souce of calcium also)

    I've ordered this shredded cheddar cheese as another cheese selection besides our well-loved mozarella for my family. Plan to use it for mac and cheese, an alternate topping for pizza, and cheesey bread rolls.

    My family really enjoys cheddar cheese in sandwches, on nachos, fries, part of mac and cheese, on broccoli - you name it - they'll add cheddar cheese to it! It is nutritious and makes food tasty and appealing.

    Rehydrates easy and tastes great. Cheese is an essential prep for me as I eat it on everything. I used a test can of this for salads, chicken dishes and mac and cheese and it tastes the same as store bought cheese. Buying more soon.

    I think my hubby is part mouse--He definitely loves cheese, and I can't imagine not having that tasty option in our food storage. I'm saving mine for emergencies, but it's a really nice food source to have on hand, especially if ever in a power outage situation....Casseroles, mac & cheese, salads, grilled cheese, cheese grits, tacos, and the list goes on and on! Makes me realize I need to order more!

    I bought a few cans of different things to try out. I opened this can and tried some plain, I was surprised to see how much it tastes like regular cheese! I put some on a green salad and the moisture from the lettuce re-hydrated the cheese in just a few minutes. No one in my family knew it was the canned cheese until I told them, my husband was shocked!!

    I first tasted some of this cheese straight from the can without even hydrating it. I was surprised to see how much it actually tasted like regular cheese. I put some on a green salad I made the other night (normally I pat the lettuce dry) and the water from the lettuce actually hydrated the cheese in just a few minutes. My family had no idea that it was the cheese from the can, my husband was shocked!!

    Heavy #10 can, great value. I noticed a less heavy can is more expensive on another site. Other than bread, cheese is the next important component in my stores. I have cheedar, mozzerella, colby, jack, blue cheese powder, cheese powder, dehydrated parmesian, and the canned variety.
    I like to mix it with the freeze dried refried beans, and dehydrated onions and for making pizza!
