Nice spice, I didnt think it was too spicy but I could see others who aren't used to spice might think it has a lot. Overall taste was good but for me, some salt and pepper added really upped the flavor. If you add just a little less water than it calls for, you end up with soft biscuits on the outside with a little crunch on in the inside which I really liked. This was after letting it sit for 10 minutes using boiling water. My only wish would be that it was cheaper. If they could cut that price in half, you would be crazy not to buy it! As it is now, its fairly expensive for what you get at least in my opinion, but I am kind of a cheapskate.

No cooking necessary, just add water and wait a few minutes then enjoy your hearty meal! A hearty meal or side of buttermilk biscuits covered in a thick country gravy. This is a meal that you can't go wrong with. If you've had this before at a diner or other restaurant where you left with a smile on your face this pouch of freeze dried biscuits and gravy will do the same thing.

Freeze dried food is so simple. Just a couple steps and a few minutes and it is chow time. To prepare the Mountain House Biscuits and Gravy you simply open package from the tear notch. 2. Add boiling water and stir. Close zipper and let stand for about 7-8 minutes. 3. Open the pouch and enjoy directly from the pouch!

New research from Mountain House has shown that Mountain House pouch products have a 25 year shelf life, they are claiming 10 years is the best time to eat the product within for taste but several of their pouched meals that were up to 30 years old still were safe to eat and still tasted good.
