  Fixed MH Rice and chicken one night when we both were extremely tired as a taste test. Great flavor and texture, picky husband loved it. Only thing was if I added my own herbs later thought it took away from the taste. Really great and would recommend it to others.

  This is one of the best products Mountain House has put out. The taste is just as if you made it fresh. My food bank includes most everything MH makes. I've tried all of them; their products are very good, with this in particular being the best. It's a meal by itself and very filling. You won't believe it's freeze dried....and last 30+ years. Where will you be then?

  This is a great product; easy to fix only take a few min. overall. Taste pretty good by itself however found if you add some seasoning or if you take some of your other MH Veg. and add into it then you can make a great dish.

  Even my picky husband thought this was great. He does not care much for rice...but he cleaned his plate. I am surprised how really good this is.

  I bought six cans of these because they are cheaper than most entree's and was happy that I did because it taste great. The texture is a little different but it's no big deal. Great deal for the price.

  Good tasting and a good source of nutrition. Even if the S doesn't HTF, this will be a staple in our diet in the future when food is twice the price and we are eating our long term food, saving a lot of money. A little bland but you can add salt if you need to.

  I was very hesitant about ordering this. My family is more than a little picky, and I didn't want to order an entire #10 can of Rice & Chicken only to discover no one would touch it. Luckily, today at my local WallyWorld, I found a 2-serving pouch of Mountain House Rice and Chicken that was 6.88. I bought it and gave it a try...and it's good! It tastes exactly like what my grandmother made from rice and leftover chicken. It really tastes like old-fashioned comfort food, and in a high-stress situation, warm comfort food would be a blessing. I just bought three #10 cans, and I'll be purchasing more over time. This is a must have for your food storage!

  This is a good product to serve as a base to "build on", i.e. add things to to make a fuller meal. By itself, it is ok, but add a few vegetables like carrots, onions and broccoli and it makes a more satisfying meal. Also, the #10 can is very light compared to others.
