While building our long term emergency storage, I have struggled to afford enough foods that would provide sufficient iron for each family member. This honey nut cereal offers 50% of the RDA of iron in a single one-cup serving! This cereal is also a great source of several other minerals and nutrients. Combine this nutrition with a long shelf life and this will definitely be worth adding to our emergency food storage.

You’ll want a supply of food tucked safely away in your food storage for times of need. If you think money is an issue, which other box of cereal can you buy that will last even close to 20 years and be priced so competitively?
