The 2 chicken breasts in this dinner are JUST like any chicken breast you might cook at home--no funny texture/flavor. Every member of my family liked the chicken breasts. The potatoes had good flavoring but were a little salty for our taste. We would still buy this meal, despite the saltiness. Compated to MREs it's not salty at all!

If you are looking for comfort food this is it. Although this meal requires an extra step in reconstituting the chicken breast it is well worth the effort.

Great tasting package with real chicken. Ive taken these camping and its great comfort food, especially when its cooler out. Tastes good by itself, but you can doctor it up with spices any way you want to improve the taste. Highly recommended product and adding more to my storage soon.

I got these from a different retailer for more $ than the Ready store but it was for camping rather than prepping. These pouches are a little more complex with two steps rather than just add water but are well worth the extra step. The mashed are a little salty so we just took some extra instant mashed to add to them. Chicken portions could be a little larger but not small by any means.

Since I don't eat meats, I haven't prepared it for anyone yet. They are excited about it though! If you look at current prices for chicken and this product, it appears to be a good deal and convenient to prepare.

Although 800 mg. of sodium is an awful lot to offer in a single serving, I will attempt to lessen this by adding carrots and stringbeans to the recipe.

This is really good, but the price isn't. 2 servings for nearly $9 I think is too much. The food is good, but there are cheaper options.

So I didn’t pack a lunch for work and I had to leave right quick. I grabbed one of these that I had squirreled away for camping and emergencies. Lunch came and I followed the directions. I added a little too much hot water so that was my bad. Follow the instructions and you are golden. Mine was a little over moist but as I stated above that was all me. Fantastic lunch with a mix of carbs and protein to get me through the rest of the day. Great stuff.
