    My mom used it on her babies for diaper rash, and as a kind of powder to reduce chafing from prespiration in the heat of summer.
    Nowadays, it's uses are confined to kitchen recipes. Thickening stir-fries, gravies, soups and stews - not to mention pie fillings. Great to have it in a handy can rather than a paper box.
