As an Italian-American zucchini is an important vegetable in our diet. I prepare it in breads, soups, stews and by itself simmered in your marinara sauce with onions and garlic.

A great deal for a quality product! Just try to dehydrate your own vegetables and see how much time it takes and how costly it would be to fill a #10 can. One comes out way ahead purchasing freeze dried produce for the cost and diversity of uses. Easy to use, no worries about spoilage, is a great product for daily use or long time storage.

I normally make zucchini noodles out of fresh zucchini with a carrot shredder instead of using regular pasta, to cut down on calories. I plan to do the same with these slices. Put a little marinara on top mixed with TVP or freeze dried ground beef and you have a meal.

These zukes were very bitter. I must have gotten a bad batch. I used them to make meals in jars before I realized they were bitter. I am not looking forward to using those jars because it gave the meal a bitter taste. :-(
