These are really tasty and are very much like malted milk balls and are rather addictive. In an emergency it is good to have something sweet. They are handy to nibble on to keep your spirits up.
Good for bugging out
I was skeptical of this product at first, but I now believe that it would be a good emergency backup food to use while bugging out. The entire container only contains 3600 calories, but that would be enough to keep you alive for a few days. You certainly wouldn't want to only eat these, though, because you'd get tired of the malted chocolate taste pretty quickly. I think these will be best used to keep energy up while hiking or bugging out on foot.

I plan to use this product as part of our bug-out bag supplies. They would be vital to maintaining a good level of health.

Tastes like a malt ball and is crazy to think it will replace my meal.

This looks like a good shelf stable multi vitamin replacement, but I noticed that the serving size is 12 pills. So you have to eat 12 of them to get to 240 calories and all those vitamins? That seems like a lot.
Not sure this is gluten-free
It's stated that this product is gluten-free. However, if it is really a "malt" product, it is very likely not. No obvious source of gluten is in the ingredient list, but no "malt" is listed, so I assume it is included in the "flavorings" item. Although malt can be made from any grain, in the USA it is nearly always made from barley, which contains gluten. So this product may not be safe for persons with celiac disease or serious gluten intolerance. It would be nice to post what the "flavorings" are, so we could be sure. Thanks!
