    I cook with these hash browns all the time. We make hash with leftovers out of the fridge. They end up really crispy. Even the picky eaters in the house love them. Very easy to work with. I prefer the freeze dried over the frozen ones in the grocery store.

    We took these camping last weekend they were so great. They only take about 10-15 min to really be hydrated. Then we fried them up over the fire worked great they crisp right up. My pop's came to visit us for breakfast and didn't even realize they weren't fresh or frozen hashbrowns. Will be adding lot's of these to the storage.

    Usually my family enjoys frozen hashbrowns that take up valuable freezer space. This product will free up my freezer and be a handy carb to have in our pantry. Coupled with your egg products it creates a well balanced meal for the entire family.

    A great deal for a quality product! Just try to dehydrate your own vegetables and see how much time it takes and how costly it would be to fill a #10 can. One comes out way ahead purchasing freeze dried produce for the cost and diversity of uses. Easy to use, no worries about spoilage, is a great product for daily use or long time storage.

    We make potato bowls on the weekend. Merely fry the rehydrated hash browns, add a slice of cheese and top with 1 or 2 fried eggs with a side order of buttermilk biscuits.

    My girlfriend loves hashbrowns so these are a must! Great deal too!
    My suggestion when re-hydrating (to get them to stick together like fresh potatoes and not fall apart when frying) is to dust them with potato flakes or corn starch. I think the freeze dry process removes some of the starchy water that is found in fresh potatoes and this trick adds it back!!!

    these cook up nice and crispy brown,easily reconstituted my wife and kids are very picky and they love them.the wife wants me to order more weve gone through several cans already.I will be ordering at least a case this time! a very generous portion in #10 can.I will never buy frozen again.

    I've been buying the boxes of dehydrated potatoes at the store, but these cans are much easier to use since portions can be controlled - love to add these to scrambled eggs & make our own breakfast burritos

    Wanted to get to take camping with me. I cooked some the next morning after I received my order. they tasted so good I cooked some for my dad the morning after that. he couldn't believe how good they tasted as well. now there's none left,and I didn't get to take camping with me. Going to probably buy several cans just to keep on hand just in case.

    I took a chance and bought 4 #10 cans when these were a Daily Deal. We opened one to try it and we LOVE it! These cook up crispy and brown, not soggy and mushy like frozen shredded potatoes. I'm going to try adding some dehydrated onion and peppers to make O'Brien potatoes and my husband wants to try them with cheddar cheese. Guess we'll have to break open a can of FD Cheddar next!
