I keep coming back for more!
I bought a few cans to try, and now I buy it by the case. Full cooked, takes only seconds to heat. With the high price of bacon, this is actually a pretty good deal. No mess. Great for camping, or every day use.
I'm so very excited to have this in my long term food storage. You can't go wrong with bacon at any meal! Also, these cans are a good size to take on the go. A lot of bacon in one little can!!!! Thank you Ready Store for offering this great product:)
WHO DOESNT LOVE BACON???? ONE CAN WOULDNT WORK, SO WE HAD TO BUY CASES...LOVE IT
Really not that expensive
As a family of bacon lovers we were happy to find this product. We bought it on sale for about 12.50 a can which sounds like a lot at first but when you consider that their are about 50 slices of bacon in a can and about 16 slices of bacon in a 1 pound package from the store you are getting a bit over 3 packages of bacon and given that bacon is now going for $4 (on sale) to $8 a pound I think the price is very comparable even now that the Yoders is up around $16 a can, especially when the bacon is already cooked. We've heated some up wrapped in tin foil over an open fire and it was wonderful!
This is the real thing I've tried it
I ordered this when the Ready Store first got it in a couple of months ago. Who doesn't like bacon, right? These cans are deceptively small - about the size of a can of green beans from the grocery store - but the bacon comes wrapped in a long piece of wax paper, folded doubled over to fit to the size of the can. I opened it and slowly slide the thing out to look - there is a LOT of bacon in this little can! I put about 8 slices between paper towels, put in the microwave for 45 seconds, and was enjoying delicious bacon in one minute. It's true, real bacon in a can packed for fresh keeping and the price is good considering you're paying for 5+ years of freshness as well as the food. There aren't many items I really have to get more of, but this is at the top of the list.
Try One Can, I Dare You..
There has not been One single person that has tried this at my house that has not asked where they can get some of this! We add it to soups, sandwiches, breakfasts and even find ourselves sneaking a piece in between meals.
