Eggs and Bacon
Just tried the small package of scarbled eggs and bacon. It was good. The portion size may a bit small for some but it tastes good and is a good source of protien.A really good product if you want to have meat for breakfast.
I enjoy using this item for a good meal. It has a satisfing taste and is very filling.
We bought a couple of cans to try for backpacking. Extremely easy to fix and very lightweight we just repacked into our own bags. Has a great taste my son liked them and he doesn't love eggs. Make sure you shake the can upside down to mix the bacon back up.
Eggs and bacon
I must say to my surprise that these are very good my family enjoyed them as well. Will be buying more to add to my food storage!!! Thanks
quick easy everyday breakfast
Hubby likes to eat before I get up in the morning. These eggs dont' last long in the long term storage, because they end up on the shelf for everyday use by him. Quick easy and tasty.
High nutrition food-easy to prepare
I have this product in my supply cabinet because I want to be able to give my family highly nutritious food in any situation - emergency or just day-to-day. The fact that it is so easy to prepare is a bonus for me.
Great tasting food that keeps for a long time unopened. Its very easy to make as well. Only downfall would be you have to finish the product within a year of opening, which really isnt too big of a deal. I keep 2 of these in my stock pile.
love this for breakfast!
Great Easy Breakfast
Packed with protein and tasty. Got lazy and opened a can instead of cooking the usual time consuming and messy conventional bacon and egg breakfast. Very Good
Another good breakfast!
Perfect for camping. Fast, easy and filling. An easy way to have a good hot breakfast with little trouble, no matter where you are!
Bacon makes them better
Regular freeze dried scrambled eggs are good, but the addition of bacon to these eggs takes them to another level. It's a good way to add variety to your food storage breakfast options, which can be limited sometimes. I think these are great on toast (especially with homemade bread!) or on breakfast sandwiches for enhanced portability.
great breakfast for great price
a healthy breakfast for a great price. perfect for storage.
This is such a tasty way to get all the needed protein in for breakfast without all the work!
This is a quality product made by Mountain House. You won't be disappointed.
Wonderful product and great value
We keep this on hand when I don't feel like cooking and also in our food storage it is a good way to get meat and eggs and really is very tastey and a good good value.
Excellent for taking camping in the pouches.
We are excited to purchase the #10 cans to add to our food storage.
Great breakfast with bacon
A little bit of a splurge item in our storage for long term.
Easy and tasty
Received yesterday, again in tact upon delivery. Had to try this morning, fed to 4 people who had no clue it was not homemade. A couple small comments about texture otherwise 4 thumbs up!
Great for breakfasts and has great shelf life.
Nothing says good morning
better than scrambled eggs and bacon!
I love my eggs and bacon and this almost solves my cravings for the two. Eggs are close to homemade if you take your time and measure precisely. Wish there was more bacon but understand why ther isn't. Wish they had just freeze dried bacon in a #10 can.. I would be in heaven.
Welcome addition to my kit
I am so glad that I bought this for my kit. I have enjoyed everything from Mountain House that I have ordered previous and this is no exception. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and in an emergency or even camping to skip breakfast before a day of hard work would be bad. Wonderful and easy to make source of protein.
Amazing product and very good value
This is an amazing product you can have a varity of breakfast at a very good value it has more servings than some and is very tasty you can use for any meal and it is easy. I have several cans in my food storage and will cont. to add as budget will allow.
Not my preference.
I don't feel this and other precooked scrambled egg products are as good as scrambled eggs prepared with Ova Easy powder and either Yoder's canned bacon or a pouch of shelf-stable crumbled bacon. In addition, separate Ova Easy and bacon can both be used to make other things besides breakfast, reducing overall storage space needed, and cost less than the precooked freeze-dried scrambled egg choices. I make up a scrambled egg/omelet mix with Ova Easy plus salt, pepper, milk powder, butter powder, a bit of tapioca flour or waxy maize starch (Clear Jel/Ultimate Gel) and a pinch of Ener-G baking powder. For me, the result is well worth the 2 minutes or so to cook up scrambled eggs/omelets that can't be told from those made with fresh shell eggs.
