    Rice is an important food staple - the fact that it's instant rice makes it even easier to prepare. Good value!

    I keep freeze dried rice as well as dehydrated rice. The reason I like freeze dried rice is because in tough times there is a good chance that fuel/energy may become an issue and it takes a lot less time to prepare freeze dried rice, therefore less energy. All I need to do is bring water to a boil then I can turn the heat off to conserve my energy.

    This is, without a doubt, the best instant rice I have ever tasted. So good that I bought a whole bucket! It doesn't taste instant but very much like the rice you get at the Chinese take out. You can't go wrong.

    I'm purchasing several cans of this rice to add to my regular supply of brown rice (that I must keep frigerated)and bagged white rice. The long shelf life is certainly the plus I was looking for.
