One More Worry off My List
Bread has been a concern to me for long-term storage. I've never tried making it from scratch. Now I know I'm covered and this looks easy to make. Getting 5 at this price!
I love being able to add this to my storage. I love fresh bread. was excited when I found this product. also my stuff was shipped and received earlier than the expected date!
Can add some extra ingredients too
I plan to purchase this and add cheese or my favorite, dill and onion.
Easy to make with no additional yeast required
I thought I'd give this mix a try in an old bread machine we had. So I halved the recipe for just one loaf (3 cups mix; 1 cup water - that's it). In a second batch I added just one teaspoon of cinnamon and 3/4 cup of raisins making a really good loaf of raisin bread. I was impressed with how easy this is to make and how well both variations turned out on the first try. Because this particular mix requires NO added yeast, it makes basic fresh bread, a great long term food storage option.
taste great and healthy
This product is amazing and healthy and tastes great. I would recommend it anyone.
great product and healthy
In our normal menu I don't use white bread but when I read and researched product my family doesn't want anything else so I no longer buy bread at the store and my husband doesn't eat bread with soups but eating this bread instead of crackers so would say this product is an amazing product and when on sale not more expensive than store bought bread that is not as healthy.
Bread ix with no added leaving needed is an important asset in my emergency pantry.
Looking forward to trying this product as pizza crust as well as regular bread.
Will buy more!
Great option for bread-a-holics like my family.
Overall a pretty good product
I had my doubts about this product the first time I tried to make a loaf. Growing up in a house that made it own bread, it didn't look like it was going to pass mustard.. I followed the direction, but they need a little tweaking. I added a pinch of salt, direct content with salt kill the yeast, and a dash of honey. Product doesn't really rise too much in initial proof but does pretty well in the oven. Needs a little butter on top half way thru so it browns up. It fits out need for a "out the can" solution for long term storage bread. It is pretty flexible, for loaf bread, pizza dough, and we add a little sugar roll it thin and put in poppy seed filling before folding it back over itself.. Important thing is that the wife likes it.. :)
