A great choice
The price of milk seems to be going up by the day. This is a great option for a family to prepare for the future.
It's very nice to have this and know at all times you can give your family milk.
Good customer service and prompt delivery, when needed the basics are what really matter. Arrived intact and will be a bonus in hard times.
Long term storage milk
Not as cheap per gallon as the stuff from the store, but is good insurance against higher milk prices in the coming months and years.
milk for the whole family.
this is perfect to have for storage. the price for milk nowadays is going up so having this will make sure your family has enough milk to last you a long time in an emergency.
My local grocery store has been out of milk multiple times the past few months so this is very important to have. Also is great for coffee creamer and hot chocolate mix too :)
Still on the expensive side.0 of 1 people found this review helpful
I use a lot of milk and probably would go through a bucket of this within 6 months after opening, so I thought I'd check pricing if bought in the bulk pail on today's sale. (I already know that by the can, the Ready Store product costs too much more than what I currently use.) Applying the USDA-standard-nonfat-milk powder calculation of 22.44 g of milk powder per cup of fluid milk (valid whatever volume that weight of powder takes up, which varies greatly by powder manufacturer), it turns out that even bought in the bulk pail on today's sale, the price for Ready Store's nonfat milk powder is $1.36 per quart/$5.44 per gallon, which is still more than the $1.24 per quart/$4.96 per gallon that I'm paying at the moment for powdered nonfat with a very good taste packaged in the more convenient #10 cans.
Maybe next month this price will be down, and the competition's will be up, but for the moment, this isn't something I'll be buying.
