We know food storage space is a premium for most people and that filling the bucket to the brim is the best way to conserve space and give value to our customers.

Also, each Saratoga Farms ValueBUCKET has a mylar bag & oxygen absorbers sealed inside. This keeps light and moisture out so your food stays good for a long, long time and since the mylar bag keeps the aroma inside, rodents won’t be coming for a meal.

While buying bulk food storage, a surprising number of people don't consider the fact that they really might have to eat it in the future.

That's why so many people buy pounds of flour and sugar, but neglect to purchase anything with practical applications. Having some extra food storage staples around is always a good idea. But if you're looking for bulk food storage, you'll actually be excited to eat and make, then these Pinto Beans - which can be used in dozens of recipes - are definitely something you should have in your food storage.

Mexican recipe staple

This is a huge amount of beans. Those of us that have a small family, if we have a large selection of food to choose from, we can't possibly eat all of this before it spoils. This is the perfect thing to share with others in need.--Just remember to add 1 Tablespoon of baking soda to the beans when they soak overnight. It will take the gas out of the beans. You will see bubbles in the water before you discard it the next morning. Rinse the beans and put them in fresh water to cook slowly, all day.

Mine arrived yesterday. I am very glad to add these to our food options. I plan on grinding some to add to baked goods to beef up the protein available. I have added several alternative cooking options to my emergency plans. And I am using them too.
