    For years I have kept my bulk food storage in buckets and these gamma lids have been a huge help to keep my food fresh and clean. I have used them for a long time and so I was glad you guys starting carrying them. Good quality.

    I have some problems opening things such as lids. My hands are very stiff but these lids make buckets easy to open and are air tight what more could you ask for , I have been trying to replace all of my 5 and 6 gallon buckets with these so when I need to get in to them I can open them!!!

    These are great because you can seal and re-seal your buckets over and over again. This makes it very easy to rotate your food storage without sealing a bucket and having to pry it open.

    I don't know how long Gamma Seals have been around (I just recently learned of them) but I sure hope the person who invented them got rich! They deserve it. I even use these to store charcoal to keep it dry, free of bugs and handy.

    I bought my first value bucket a few months ago and also bought this Gamma Lid. I wasn't sure if I was doing everything correctly but I did fine following the directions. Everything went smoothly.

    Having a replacement lid around is a good idea. TRS is the same price as any pet store which is where we bought our original food vault and lid. Under heavy usage and if used carelessly by say, spinning the lid on and not paying attention, the gaskets can become warped and loose. believe it or not, they still seal, just a pain whenever you take off the lid and the gasket falls off. Treat them well and they treat you well

    So much easier than sealing a regular bucket lid, but be careful if you don't pay attention the mice will still chew through it...

    Gamma seals are absolutely fantastic! They're amazingly tough and totally airtight. Not only are they perfect for food storage, they're excellent for keeping survival supplies safe and waterproof on boat trips or in bad weather on ATV trips. BUT it's nice to have a variety of colors to help with organization. C'mon... please offer something besides white!

These spin-on, spin-off lids are a cinch to use, and easy to put on any standard size 3.5- 7.0 gallon bucket. The lids are also free of any harmful chemicals or toxins, and are approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). Gamma lids aren't just easy to use, however; they are also airtight, leak-proof, and spill-proof.

Here's how they work. These lids have two different parts to them—the first is the piece that is pushed down over the bucket's rim. It locks in place and while it will take some force to get it on and off, that just means that it's not going anywhere! This piece can be removed and replaced (onto the same bucket or another one) if necessary, however. The second piece is the lid that screws down onto the rim with just an easy twist of the wrist. The lid comes with a replaceable rubber ring that fits snugly around the base of the lid and makes it completely airtight and mostly-waterproof! So if you're tired of scraping your knuckles, breaking your fingernails, or even using something akin to a pry bar to open your food storage containers every time, try our easy gamma lids for some simplicity and relief!
