100% Gourmet freeze-dried food
Never chewy or oily, freeze-dried food tastes great because it retains the original taste, texture, nutrients, and aroma. Make food storage convenient
Just add water and in a matter of minutes you are eating a nutritious meal the whole family will enjoy. Be prepared for the next time of need
With a 25+ year shelf life you can enjoy the peace of mind that comes from being prepared. Stay healthy during the next disaster
With 8 grams of protein per serving you will get plenty of an often overlooked nutrient. A "Company Favorite!" This delightful vegetarian meal features spiral rotini pasta with a healthy blend of zucchini, cauliflower, peas, broccoli, red peppers, onions, and yellow peppers topped of with the delicious flavor of parmesan cheese. Just add boiling water, let stand for a few minutes, and then serve. If you are serving a group, simply add the boiling water to the can for a convenient way to prepare the entire can. This freeze-dried meal makes a quick, filling meal for your family's emergency preparedness.

Mountain House™ freeze-dried foods have long been a top brand in the industry regarding quality and taste. Freeze-Dried foods offer many advantages over dehydrated foods. To begin with, they taste much better because through the freeze-drying process the foods retain their taste, texture, and shape of fresh frozen foods. In addition, freeze-drying locks in the freshness, vitamins, nutrients, color, and aroma of fresh frozen foods while providing the shelf-stable convenience of canned and dehydrated foods.

Pleasantly Surprised
We have been ordering our long term food storage little by little, but with the exception of a few of the MRE's and the freeze dried Ice Cream Sandwiches, we had not tried anything else. We decided before ordering anything else we would try on of the cans we had ordered...at a random choice we picked the Mountain House Pasta Primavera. We cooked it as per the instructions on the can and were extremely happy with the result. It was slightly watery at first, but letting it set for a few minutes solved that. The taste was very good and after I left for work, my girlfriend served it to unexpected friends who dropped by and they loved it too. The only thing negative is the high sodium content....other than that..highly recommended.

I tried this in a single pouch and was truly impressed so I just purchased a can for long-term storage. You certainly see a lot of comments about how much more per serving this costs compared to Saratoga Farms. I've never tried SF but I can tell you THIS -- if it's taste you're most concerned about, THIS is for you. I'd recommend about a third less water, and perhaps a little salt, but it's loaded with veggies, flavor, pasta. You won't be disappointed.

A vegetarian-Italian dish that caught my eye!

Although this product is moderately high in salt it is not as high as some of your other product. This fact coupled with the varied vegetables and cheesy carb ingredients made this an easy choice for my family - especially the grandkids.

Yes, this pasta is a little high in sodium, but what FD food isn't? This pasta tastes pretty good and will feed a lot of people. I have tried this and like it better than Alfredo from "the buckets". Great price for what you get!

This is an amazing product and also a good value and if you want add to it a small can of tuna will be an amazing addition and I would recommend it to anyone. My husband says by adding the tuna it makes taste more like a tuna casserole but not baked but just as tasty.
