How do they pack so much flavor into these freeze dried entries?!? OK, I'll admit I'm partial to almost anything which includes pasta, so my review may be biased, but if you like lasagna, and don't mind that it won't end up on your plate in a perfect little square, you should get some of this.

We took this as one of ours meals for a fishing trip to Wyoming from Texas. We were flying and had it packed in suitcase thank goodness these foods don't weigh alot we put them in ziplock bags pre-measured and when we got there and got to eat them they where really good and very easy to make, when you are spending time with your family you don't want to be cooking while they are having fun. Now I need some for storage!!!

My wife and I volunteer for 3 1/2 months at a state park on an island and live in a tent while doing so. Space is limited and since we have to take a boat to the mainland for supplies, Mountain House has proved a wonderful tasty solution to our food situation. This lasagna is absolutely great!!! We highly recommend it !

What can I say, I love a good meal and this is it. Now I trust Mountain House, but I test almost everything I get in a small packet first before I spend 'big money' buying 3, 4, or 5 #10 Cans and this is well worth the price. Add your own veggies and cheese to make it better and I use the sourdough bread mix to make homemade garlic bread, YUMMMMMMMMMY! Best wishes to all! :)

I must say that this is my all time favorite of freeze dried main entries. Excellent flavor. It may say ten servings and that may seem low in serving count but these are based on a larger serving size than competitors stated serving size so you should take that into consideration when comparing cost ... you must compare the size of the serving and actual weight of the product contents. Mountain house entries have been a favorite of mine for the last 30 years.

Wow what a great product, according to my kids they have knocked this out of the park. Most products I have ever had from MH have been good but this ranks in the top. There was so much cheese in this that after dipping it out we set the spoon aside and it was thick W/ cooled cheese when the kids ask for more.

    (Suggest you add only 1 1/2- 1 3/4 cup H2O)

This is only the second time that I have consumed a freeze-dried entree of any sort: I has purchased several boxes of "Emergency only" Mountain House entrees set aside for "just such an occasion", and decided to try some of them before it was too late to return them. I'm not sure just what I expected to find, other than bland, relatively tasteless, and "blah" reconstituted food.

Imagine my surprise when I discovered that this lasagna is REALLY GOOD! Cheesy, lots of meat, not overly tomato-y. Of course, like another reviewer had said it's not in a neat little square but so what! It tastes good, and packs quite a bit of nutrition in a smallish space. Suggest you add a bit less water to the package, to thicken up the sauce. Other than that, it's very tasty! I like it, so much in fact, that I am purchasing a few cans of it to eat, in order to leave my emergency supplies untouched...!
