Rounding Out Your Food Storage – Saratoga Farms

Written by The Ready Store

Just a quick note on our Saratoga Farms brand of freeze-dried food. Saratoga Farms is our house brand of freeze-dried food. The food comes from the very best freeze drying companies all over the country. We offer only the a la carte items such as fruits and vegetables in our Saratoga Farms brand. If you have not had an opportunity to try any of them, you are missing out.

On Friday I tried again our zucchini and it was absolutely wonderful. It has great flavor, even a little bit sweet and great look and texture. I am not much of a zucchini guy but I could eat these without rehydrating, like a snack. Anyway, I wanted to give you a short list of all of the fruits and vegetables that we offer with Saratoga Farms.

They are all high quality freeze-dried items so you will get the usual 25+ year shelf life. You should have plenty of fruits and vegetables in your food storage to make sure you are getting the nutrition you need to keep you healthy. Keep in mind you can also purchase these items by the can, by the case, in sampler packs or year supply packs. I really like our different sampler packs.

You can also add these items to your everyday cooking or to other freeze-dried food entrees you may have. I add the freeze-dried cheese to many of the entrees (like the spaghetti or the lasagna) or I add vegetables to my entrees make them healthier. The fruits I just eat like a snack. I never add water to them, although you can. They are great just to eat right out of the can.
