Emergency warmth protection for really low cost.
I just ordered 10 of these blankets to supply my whole family with warm covering in an emergency situation. They are lightweight and can be easily carried in our auto, or bug-out bags.

A Must Have!
1 of 1 people found this review helpfulEvery first aid kit, bug out bag, automobile should be stocked with an emergency blanket. Very hard to beat the price for the quality received.

Buy several for home and car
1 of 2 people found this review helpfulI bought two emergency blankets for my husband and I, and plan to add more to my supplies for sharing with friends and family. Comes in a compact package, and can be stored in the smallest of places. This blanket will offer warm comfort, especially in combination our good sleeping bags.

Got to get this.
I love this blanket. It is so huge, yet it is small enough to fit into a bug out bag.

Keep Extras
I'm keeping these Emergency Blankets at home, work and the car. I keep extras because you know in any emergency there are always going to be others who never thought ahead or prepared anything.

BOBs rule
This is a no bs blanket. We got one in a survival kit, well actually 4, but either way, it is a no nonsense, keep warm in a pinch, for dirt cheap and folds up mega small which leaves room for other things in the bag. These come in the red survival kits that come with the bag half empty...why? Because it is smart and they package these things so darn well, you can add MRE's a soft kids throw blanket for comfort, etc.

essential emergency kit item
These are exactly as advertised. Very compact and will easily fit into your emergency kit. They do look flimsy and it's hard to believe they will be useful, but when you don't have any other more durable options these emergency blankets can't be beat!

Must have
These are great to have for camping, house, to store in a vehicle, etc. You need to be able to stay warm in an emergency and these are great. They are lightweight, inexpensive and very easy to store because they are small in size when they are folded.

Better than nothing
After having read the last review regarding it's flimsiness, I still think this is good to have for someone who can't move to get up. Even if it is used around a person's shoulders, it will still keep them warm. Shock is a very important issue and keeping a person warm during a short-term trauma before an ambulance comes is essential. I also think it is good for wrapping a pet in.

A Must Have
These emergency blankets are the best thing you can have for any emergeny. They are inexpencive, light wieght and so small that even packing extras for the unprepared will not weigh you down. A must have for everyone.

Everyone Should Have a Bunch of These!
These work by reflecting your body heat back to your body. They work well and would be invaluabl in an emergency situation. At this price, there's no reason not to have at least two of these for every member of your family/group. I keep a few at home, a couple in the car and one in my hunting vest (hey, you never know).

A Must..
14 of 29 people found this review helpfulThis is a must for prepping for any scenario. Also, a great idea to carry a couple extras in your vehicle. The Ready Store cannot be beat on the price that they offer this for. Recommend one for each member of the family.

small, compact, works
1 of 1 people found this review helpfulThis is in a small travel size lightweight bag, which is great, but don't expect to get it back into the bag. Yes, you will look like you are wrapped in tin foil, but you will be warm, that's what really matters.

Emergency Blanket
You get what you pay for! It does keep you warm, but it is like a thin metallic sheet of plastic. It is light weight, which is good.

Not worth your time
These are flimsy, they probably won't last the night. I've had the unfortunate experience of having to use one for an unexpected overnight bivy. It was loud and crinkly, it was unwieldily, and ultimately ended up tearing under "normal" use. Save your money and get a thicker, higher quality reflective blanket.
