    These matches are great, I haven't had a chance to see if they are waterproof but they work good. Their a great addition to 72 hr kits or just to go camping with.

    I tried one just to see how good they were, for creating a fast fire it's good, haven't tried it under wet conditions but will find out later.

    We live in a humid climate year round. Having waterproof matches on hand gives us peace of mind that we can start a campfire, grill or light candles and kerosene lamps. Several packs of these matches are in each of our bug out bags as well.

    Most people think that regular matches are fine, but go dunk yours in water and dry them, see if they work, they won't. These ones will work when it's wet out, just make sure you have good dry tinder too, otherwise there's no point!

    These really do work under humid and wet conditions. Keep them in your BOB and at home. Get the orange waterproof match box and you're all set.

    When these waterproof matches arrived, we immediately put a box in our new Kelly Kettle bundle kit! The rest are stored with our other fire starting materials. It's comforting to know we'll be able to get a warm fire going in any emergency situation, regardless of the weather! Highly recommend~~Minimal investment for maximum peace of mind!

    Honestly,I bought these matches as a filler to get the free 100 dollar shipping discount because i was a little short of a 100 dollar order. But they have came in real handy .These fit in your car or camping equipment or just about anywere . They work great (remember to support the head of the match when stricking so you wont break it off) .
