Worth having
194 of 386 people found this review helpfulI didn't think these were that important but one of the customer service people at ready store said I should have them with my potty. Even though I can use a garbage bag, I like these because they are just the right size for the bucket. I am kind of a clean freak so I don't want to have to touch any of the nasty stuff if I don't have too. So these bags do that. Hope that helps somebody.

You could use other bags
1 of 1 people found this review helpfulThese could seem unnecessary, I guess you could use leftover plastic grocery bags, but that doesn't mean you would want to. These are shaped to fit just right. You wouldn't want the edge falling in on you! For the price, I'd rather pay and not have any issues.

$15 for 6 bags at Wal-Mart
2 of 2 people found this review helpfulI haven't used these, and I didn't look at the "specs" on the ones at Wal-Mart, but they wanted $15 for 6 - designed to fit over 5-gallon buckets it looked like though. I recalled having seen these here $4.75 for 12 and another review says they "fit just right" so these would seem to be the best way to...uh...to "go." :)

Essential in any bug out bag
If you are going to have the Hygiene Add On Kit, you might as well have these Potty Bags. I would hate to have to wash the Potty out or worse, have to carry it with me without having the water to clean it.

another essential item
Here is another essential item to keep in your emergency storage. Though you could easily use other bags for disposal, just the chance of breakage, spillage, or having the bag slip when being used was enough for me to get these as our primary supply. We made potty buckets, comprised of a 5-gal bucket, the portable toilet lid, these waste disposal bags, hand sanitizer, odor control packages, as well as some extra trash bags and grocery bags just in case we need backup for disposal purposes.
