This is a great price for a stove like this. It boils water very fast and is much better than toting around a heavy grill and fuel for camping. Quick set up, easy clean up. Only drawback is that it needs a table top or you are on the ground, but it's worth not having all that extra weight to carry.

Very good product and at a great price. Heats food and boils water very quickly and doesnt take up too much space. Great for emergencies and to take camping. I use the little propane bottles with this unit, but you can also hook up a big tank too.

I bought this stove with plans to take it in the mountains. Just last weekend, I was out in the cold, wind and snow and I was cooking hamburgers on this stove with a regular frying pan. Even being open to the elements, the hamburgers cooked so fast! I figured I would have to keep re-lighting the stove but it held up good in bad weather. Also it only took a minute to set up and take apart.

But even though we can't control what happens to us, we can always be in control of what preparations we make. Stansport's trusted quality and propane powered stove is just one more way of being certain that you are absolutely ready for anything that life can throw at you.

Recent events like Hurricane Katrina have opened our eyes to the responsibility we have ourselves to ensure our family’s safety and security in the midst of disaster:

“Americans rightly asked, if this is the way our government responds to a natural disaster it knew about days in advance, how would it respond to a surprise terrorist attack? How would it respond to an earthquake?” --Russ Carnahan
