  • Great tent!

I love this tent! The first night I camped out in a tent, it snowed! But we had time to set up a big tent with a wood burning stove. If we were on the move and only had time for setting this up, it would do the trick. If you watch Bear Grylls' new show, put some dry grass underneath and you'll be even more warm. But put a barrier between the tent and the grass so you won't damage the tent.

Keeps you quite warm, especially if you have a fire going outside of it. The heat from the fire is absorbed and generated through the aluminum which keeps the inside very warm. The heat is also controllable due to the size of the fire.

Create a shelter If it’s going to rain or the sun is sapping your energy, you can use your knife to cut large bushy branches off of a tree. Lean these branches against a trunk or fallen log to make an impromptu lean-to shelter shielding you from the elements. Call attention to search parties Most blades when clean can reflect a good deal of light. If you find yourself without your signaling mirror wipe it clean and practice reflecting light on targets. Once you feel good about your aim use the standard SOS signal of 3 short flashes, 3 long flashes, followed by 3 short flashes towards the rescue teams to get their attention. Read More
