Faultless emergency light
Hey, who can fault a light-stick? The perfect emergency solution ... buy a dozen or two!
Great for when the lights go out
Long lasting. I put one in the kids backpack just in case of an emergency. Kids love love therm and they come in handy during a power failure.
Great for a night light
I keep buying these light sticks. They last a long time and I put them in the kids backpack and bedroom in case the lights go out.
A Great Emergency Light
A great item for first aid kits, automobiles, and emergency packs. Easy and safe to use!
Great Little Item
Lightweight and don't take up much space. I never saw one of these before I got some in my 72 hour packs. I might take the other reviewer's advice and buy the better ones to keep on hand.
Great for camping
I like the idea of having one of these attached to our dog while camping. I think I would tape it to the back of the harness. Then I can know where he is when we are sleeping to avoid possibly stepping on him. He likes to move about the tent at night and we have a big tent.
Light Without Batteries
These are great for extended power outages because they provide decent light and require no batteries. More importantly, they don't pose a fire hazard like candles. As an added bonus, my kids can be trusted with these and if they get lost it's no big deal. Highly recommended!
A simple glow stick like this and go a long ways in an emergency situation. Great for an emergency bag in your car.
Not so sure I'm a fan of these, but for the price it can't hurt to throw a dozen or so away "just in case".
Something better out there
These are pretty old fashioned, they can break and leak. Not so good for little kids. This site has a 200 hour l.e.d. light stick, it's not much more and it works much longer! I would get that instead.
Other options are better
This is similar to the "glow sticks" you can buy at the dollar store, and for another $1.05 you could get the 200-hour LED Eco Light Stick...either way, this light stick probably isn't your best bet.
