  While I have already purchased this a year or two back I am glad to see the ready store carry this oven. Make sure you follow the first time use instructions to season the unit then from there you will have great tasting food without using fuel or heating up your home. Love ours!

  We can't wait to receive this essential element for emergency survival and everyday money-saving use. With energy costs rising i plan to use this oven to bake cornbread, beans, rice, pasta sauce - the list goes on and on.

  I had really done my research on solar ovens and waited till I found just the right one - this one is it! First reason, it's made in the good ole USA. The second, it really does what it says it will do - cook and bake with just the sun's energy. Please, please clean it first as instructed - I went a step further - I heated it first to it's max tempature and cleaned it with soapy water then repeated with vinegar - worked like a charm - no odd flavor in the food as reported in past reviews from other websites. I baked banana bread from the recipes that come with the oven. WOW - best ever. I had to adjust the recipe for gluten free for my hub - he was so impressed with the flavor and how moist it was. Don't hesitate buying this oven - you will love it and all of the accessories.

  I remember when gasoline was not a major part of a person's budget. If natural gas prices ever turned that way, having anything solar would be a blessing. I hope to see more affordable solar items in the future.

  These are fantastic. You can set it outside for the day when you go to work and your food is done when you get home. Living in South Carolina too, we get lots of sun, its about time we can use it to prepare food. Well worth the money if you think of all the gas and electric you will save by not keeping an oven on, not to mention heating your house when you dont want it to be warm.

  After reading the reviews we are going to purchase the Sun Oven. I would like to get it from The Ready Store but they don't carry the complete kit. Please consider adding this to your product line. I'll wait a while before ordering in hopes you'll carry it.

  I really love using my sun oven.
  It saves energy, and in warm weather, it doesn't heat up the house. Great for roasting chicken, pork of beef. I bake in it. Use it as a slow cooker and use it as a dehydrator (with wire racks.) Easy to use. Stores easily. I just love it.
  -Be sure to clean and season the oven before use.

  I wasn't really sure about the sun cooking my food until we bought this oven on a daily deal. This solar cooker is amazing. Super easy to use and big enough for our family of seven. Just make sure to follow the directions really well before the first time use and you will cooking, boiling and baking with the sun for many years.

  Some of the things the Ready Store has are good values price-wise but this isn't one of them. If you do a little research online, you can find the exact same thing for $X - including roasting pot and a water pasteurization indicator. The Ready Store's 180-day money-back guarantee is unmatched, however, and on sale for $X you're not paying much more ($X) for the oven alone, so for some it may be worth paying a premium price for the 6-month guarantee. Depends on the individual, but having ordered here 8 times already, I can say the Ready Store is an honest and above-board company that delivers on its' promises and goes that little extra bit for their customers. If you're okay with the price, buy it here. If you're really really squeezed for money on your preparing, you might consider shopping around.
